The IAEA is the spokesman of the five permanent members of the U.N.: China, USA, France, England, Russia – all atomic weapons countries. All with VETOs infront of the U.N. Vetos against all Chernobyl studies.

 

The UN General Assembly adopted the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court on July 17, 1998. On July 1, 2002 the statute came into force. “The International Criminal Court is a permanent tribunal to prosecute individuals for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.” (Wikipedia, 03/25/2011) Thus far, the ICC has not accepted criminal or civil cases involving the destruction of natural resources and environmental terrorism. The establishment of its authority to do so is long overdue.
In relation to the ongoing accident at Fukushima, responsible officials from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the World Health Organization (WHO), the operating company (TEPCO) and Japanese nuclear power regulators should be brought before the International Criminal Court and held accountable for their actions.
Failure to aid in tens of thousands of cases and threats to natural resources hundreds of thousands if not millions of people is a Felony.
The behavior of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) following the reactor accident of Fukushima is a scandal. WHO has made public statements trivializing the emergency and ceding all of its responsibilities to the IAEA, citing the treaty of 1957. “What is WHO’s role in nuclear emergencies? Answer by WHO: “Within the United Nations system, the IAEA is the lead agency for coordination of international response to radiation events.” (World Health Organization, Japan Nuclear Concerns, FAQ, 14 March 2011, Geneva)
The IAEA – an organization whose Board of Governors is dominated by and comprised almost entirely of nuclear industry members, holds fast to its opinion that Fukushima should be assessed at Level 5 on the International Rating scale for significant events in nuclear facilities (INES).
The quantity of radioactive Iodine-131 released is a central indicator for the evaluation of nuclear accidents on the INES scale. The release of more than “a few 10 ^ 16 Bq of iodine 131” is classified as a level 7 catastrophic accident this (INES) scale.
Apparently, the IAEA, TEPCO and the Japanese government officials in charge have not clearly stated how much radioactive material has been released throughout the unfolding of the Fukushima disaster. According to estimates by the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), comprised of 60 monitoring stations world-wide under the auspices of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, the first three days of the Fukushima accident alone released about 3.8 x 10 ^ 17 Bq of radioactive Iodine-131. That is about 100 times the official inventory. The Fukushima disaster has also released significant amounts of several other radionuclides which have not even been measured.
Due to these figures, the Fukushima accident would have been legitimately classified as INES level 7 a long time ago. Greenpeace is now in the process of conducting its own analysis.
The behavior of WHO and the IAEA is therefore an unprecedented scandal. An inappropriately small evacuation zone is estimated to have resulted in the needless exposure of pregnant women, children, and other adults to excessive levels of radiation and radioactive contamination beyond 250mSv, the limit set for the recognition of work related cancer among Japanese nuclear power plant employees. Radiation biology assumes that if 10,000 people were exposed to a dose of 1 Sv, then 500 deaths are expected to occur as a result of their exposure (ICRP60) 500-1200 (BEIRV) 580-1740 (RERF), 2400 (Köhler). The ICRP – another profiteer of the atomic industry – made the recommendations for radiation protection standards, which were accepted by all countries and which were used o justify IAEA regulations. Interesting isn’t it?

 

UN-cancer

The UN is divided into 7 organisations, of which two are of interest to us, the Economic and Social Council and the Security Council.The “Economic and Social Council” oversees ALL the United Nations agencies with the exception of the “IAEA”.

In fact, the IAEA is the only agency that reports directly to the “Security Council” which is made up of representatives of 15 countries, of which 5 are permanent members of the Council : the United States, the Untied Kingdom, the Russian Federation, China and France.

These 5 nations are all nuclear powers, both civil and military, and almost all are exporters of nuclear technology.
The 10 remaining members (or countries) have a mandate which lasts for 2 years.

The influence of these 5 permanent members of the Security Council on policy making within the IAEA is enormous and ongoing. With no counterbalancing power, it is almost impossible to claim that the IAEA has an objective view of the nuclear industry and the consequences of its use.

On 28th May 1959, the IAEA (not yet two years old !) and WHO signed an agreement referred to as “WHA 12-40” which, though it might, on paper, appear balanced and reciprocal, in practice, puts WHO in a subordinate position to the IAEA.

From this day on all information policy by the media, the ministeries, the universites and commissions is directly affected by that. We’ve seen it happening with Chernobyl and in Japan.

Presently the international organizations (WHO, IAEA) recognize as the main cause of increase of thyroid cancer in liquidators and children population after the accident their irradiation with radioactive iodine, I-131. The rest of diseases, they suppose, are provoked by psycho-emotional reactions..” (!!!…RADIOPHOBIA…!!!) There is no linear dose effect correlation, but “The bimodal dependence of effects on dose was revealed for all studied parameters. In this article you will learn things never heard before. They sound absurd, crazy. But these things have official sources. Partly even of the nuclear industry itself.

You, reader deserve the truth. I think you are someone who believes the following, as do 99 % of all people: Chernobyl 4 exploded 1986. It was a meltdown. It irradiated parts of Europe and the World. You probably know that a new sarcophagus is being built right now in Ukraine. A Shell as big as the statue of liberty above and around the ruin. Liquidators were there, connstructing the first sarcophagus in 1986. You probably believe people died, how many you don’t know. And now it’s 30 years since then.That’s what you know, what you believe.

Are you ready? For one of the biggest lies in human history, along with the lies of TEPCO Japan. And IAEA. And UNSCEAR.

All say: Meltdown. A meltdown is a theoretical assumption. It helps to keep evacuation and compensation small. Because Meltdown means: Only 2 – 5 percent of the radioactive inventory / the core, escaped the reactor. It is a theory. It helps the industry to survive.

Here are facts with Sources next to them / below.

  1. The core of almost all reactors worldwide consists of Uranium Oxide (UO²). Chernobyl was a double core, seperated hydrauligcally. Making this thing 190 tons heavy. This data is from NRC. It says, each Kg consisted of 2 % Unraium 235 enrichment – which can be used for bombs. Reactors use it to become critical, or to operate – in other words. Did you know that? For example each german reactor is a so called MOX reactor. The number of MOX reactors worldwide increase. Sometimes they are fed with weapons plutonium. But this is only wishy washy. They consume it to become critical. But each reactor produces 250 kg Plutonium per year and unit, worldwide. If plutonium enriched or Uranium 235 enriched. Ok, so there were 450 Kg Plutonium in Chernobyl – from the beginning there were 450 kg Uranium 235. Do you know how much Plutonium was used for Nagasaki and how much Uranium 235 was used for Hiroshima? Answer: 64 Kg Uranium 235 for Hiroshima and 6,2 Kg Plutonium for Nagasaki. Your average reactor contains a lot of bombs in its core, Chernobyl even 100% more. It contains the radioactivity of 1,000 Hiroshima bombs, or 15 billion curie (Source: NIRS). Its “only” enriched, but reactors are nothing else than decelerated nuclear bombs.

3. Let’s make a shortcut: What happened at Cherobyl 4?

The Chernobyl Core was 190 tons of Uranium Oxide UO².

Each Kg consisted of 2,4 g of Uranium 235. To make the reactor work. This is the situation in each reactor worldwide. To get it run, beginning of life fuel needs this. After a certain period there is Plutonium in the reactor. For Chernobyl it makes 450 Kg Pu239 all together in both halves of the Core.

Ca. 250 Kg Pu239 in normal reactors. With smaller cores. The core was split in two halves, together 10 m length. An electromechanical experiment was started.

Purpose: Could a tripped generator maintain the electrical feed to the main circulation pumps during generator coast down?

Reactivity was reduced.

Security System was blocked, so was the >automatic< scram.

Both turbo generators were shut down.

The behaviour of Chernobyl is similiar to Fast Breeder Reactors (Sodium / lead cooled), also in terms of void coefficient.

The loss of pumping power induced by the experiment caused a rapid fail in pressure, so the water began to boil, at the bottom of the reactor and even at the inlet of the water! The reactor was unstable.

The crew pushed the button of the Emergency Protection System:

The water lies between the moderator (graphite) and the fuel. It captures thermal neutrons. It is more like a neutron shield than an additional moderator. The energy once stored in the fuel was transferred to the coolant.

It continued to boil and saturate and steam and water met very hot surfaces:

So the first explosion occurred and set the reactor dry – this can be described as steam / hydrogen explosion, BUT that was not was the reactor destroyed. Not, what the reactor lid has thrown aside, not what destroyed the reactor hall.

The first explosion had an energy of 200 Gigajoules. All water was expelled from the reactor. All fuel channels became dry. And Water was pushed back into the inlet and the steam drum seperators.

A DRY reactor heats up 100°C (180°F) evey 0,1 seconds! At the same time nuclear reactions take place, NEUTRONS – just below the speed of light. No chance for Reactor Emergency Systems:

A dry reactor heats up 100°C every 0,1 seconds.

The Doppler Effect was saturated. Phase transition was faster than the heating. NO MELTDOWN.

You would need “only” 50 Gigajoules to boil all that water.

Xenon build up. The reactor poisoned itself. But that was not the main cause for the next events:

The Void Coefficient increased. More than 5 $. This is higher than the total antireactivity of the Doppler effect.

A final supercritical state was achieved – This is nothing else than a nuclear Explosion / reaction of the Reactor Type. This principle is known since the first graphite gas cooled reactors were build.

Fuel Disaggregation requires very high energy: More than 250 Gigajoules.

The crew pushed the Scram Button AZ5. Control rods moved it. They needed 10 seconds, which took much too long. Only a small number of them reached the core.

2 seconds later the Nuclear Explosion / Reaction occurred. This one was 1,000 Gigajoules = 1 Terrajoule. This is the equivalent of 200 – 300 Tons of TNT, or just the yield of a U.S. nuclear W54 warhead.

This nuclear warhead existed and was actually tested. It`s yield: 250 Tons TNT, or, in other words: 1,12 Terrajoule. Exactly the amount of Energy Chernobyl`s two explosions had (one setting the core dry, the other destroying it):

The U.S. NUREG-1250 report, the official U.S. analyses says in Figure 4.3: 1,400 calories energy were deposited into each gram of reactor fuel UO². That is exactly the 1 Terrajoule: http://pbadupws.nrc.gov/docs/ML0716/ML071690245.pdf

The fuel was damaged. Each explosion took 1 second.

It included Shock Waves, Cladding rupture, Fuel fragmentation, Phase transition, and as an eye witness said, a blue flash.

If 65 % of the fuel is smeared that means the reactor is prompt supercritical = Nuclear explosion / reaction. This is called bigger than 1 $.

The total power of the reactor at the time of its destruction was 47,000 % over normal.

This all happened in 1 second.

Fast neutron reactions happen 1,000 times faster than any chemical or physical reaction.

A steam explosion was not possible anymore. At high temperatures steam ionizes into hydrogen and oxygen. Both do not explode at temperatures above 2,000 / 2,100°C:

Reaching 4,000 – 5,000°C these temperatures were no longer chemical, they were nuclear. Officials tell us: “Chernobyl was a hydrogen / steam explosion” – maybe the first one. But with the heating up, it became too hot for these kind of explosions. Don Arnott (below) said: At these temperatures steam ionizes and dissociates into the gases oxygen and hydrogen. These detonating gases do not explode above 2,000 / 2,100 °C.

The phase transition Uranium Oxide core flew like a turbo jet engine into the air, ca. 20 – 30 m above the central hall and exploded in a nuclear explosion of the reactor type. The temperatures reached at this moment: 40,000°C.

But the Temperature of the Chernobyl nuclear explosion was 100,000 times lower (10,000,000%) than the nuclear explosion of the bomb type.

No water has enough thermal conductivity for that.

This exceeds every safety system human can design and build.

The not welded lid has a weight of 2,000 tons. It was superheated during the explosion and neutron activity. It was seen from the helicopter crew and IAEA as well as soviet officials misinterpreted it as fuel in melting process. Steel glows cherry red at Temperatures 770°C to 800°C and yellow at Temperatures 1,150°C to 1,250°C.

The paint is also still there. It survive a max. Temp. of 300°C.

The thermal observation showed no melting process and no graphite fire.

IAEA says 96% of the fuel is still in the reactor. But it is not.

In September 1986 126 tons of graphite and 26 tons of fuel were removed from roofs at Chernobyl plant site.

If much Boron is used in western reactors, similar over moderated situations can happen.

Western reactors avoid explosions, via cooking and steaming the reactor cores and letting the aerolized inventory fly through the safety relief valves (SRVs). It`s like a pressure cooker.

NUREG 1250 also speaks of “aerolized” fuel particles after phase transition, on page 6-7.

The industry simply avoids the term “nuclear explosion in a reactor” and simply calls it: “prompt critical excursion.” That`s all.

Vladimir M. Chernousenko, Scientific Director of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences  Institute of Physics in Kiev’s Task Force for the  Rectification of the Consequences of the Chernobyl Accident- HE SAID:

The Temperature reached more than 2,000°C degrees – reaching 47,000 % POWER!

A steam explosion can not develop 1,2 Terrajoule. Steam explosion’s Maxium -> 50 Gigajoules. But the explosion lifted the 2,000 tons lid away, and then even destroyed the reactor hall! How powerful is that. Only a maximum of 10 to 50 Gigajoule of Energy are possible by a Steam explosion in Chernobyl – it was the water expelled from Reactor 4:

Yes: 1,400 Cal/gm (calories per gram) are 1,1 Terrajoules = equivalent of 0,2 – 0,3 Kilotons TNT.

There was not enough water, power in water, to create so a high energy explosion, for the 2nd one. This was nuclear.

Chernobyl was build by ROSATOM – the ones who build a new reactor in Chernobyl irradiated Belarus, the ones who helped Iran with their nuclear reactors, and probably delievered Polonium 210 to kill Litvenenko in London.

The new sarcophagus is built to contain this dangerous truth. The truth that Chernobyl was emptied by a nuclear explosion (of the reactor type, not bomb type).

The UN is divided into 7 organisations, of which two are of interest to us, the Economic and Social Council and the Security Council.The “Economic and Social Council” oversees ALL the United Nations agencies with the exception of the “IAEA”.

In fact, the IAEA is the only agency that reports directly to the “Security Council” which is made up of representatives of 15 countries, of which 5 are permanent members of the Council : the United States, the Untied Kingdom, the Russian Federation, China and France.

These 5 nations are all nuclear powers, both civil and military, and almost all are exporters of nuclear technology.
The 10 remaining members (or countries) have a mandate which lasts for 2 years.

The influence of these 5 permanent members of the Security Council on policy making within the IAEA is enormous and ongoing. With no counterbalancing power, it is almost impossible to claim that the IAEA has an objective view of the nuclear industry and the consequences of its use.

On 28th May 1959, the IAEA (not yet two years old !) and WHO signed an agreement referred to as “WHA 12-40” which, though it might, on paper, appear balanced and reciprocal, in practice, puts WHO in a subordinate position to the IAEA.

From this day on all information policy by the media, the ministeries, the universites and commissions is directly affected by that. We’ve seen it happening with Chernobyl and in Japan.

Stochastic effects and children:
There is statistical health damage caused by the so-called low-level radiation (above ZERO up to 500mSv.) That is not assigned to any particular people, but occur in a defined population. This issue is the subject of thousands of studies all over the world since the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, and I will discuss in detail below with reference to examples. Factors such as age, gender, health, immune system, nutrition, social situation and the duration of exposure of the radioactivity influence the onset of cancer and other diseases. Until the Chernobyl disaster, the biological effects in the body of the
radioactive isotopes have been undervalued.

It is now clear: Any radiation poses a risk especially for children who are extremely radiosensitive.

1) A child is constantly increasing in weight and size, it grows from the intrauterine embryo to adult, the younger, the faster. Therefore, the cells divide much more frequently than an adult. Cells in the division phase (mitosis) are more vulnerable to radiation than cells in the resting phase.

2) The ability of the body to recognize “defective” cells and to  eliminate them develops during childhood. An embryo has not yet this ability. Therefore  “defective” cells can multiply unimpeded and later lead to cancer or heritable diseases.

3) A child that grows must hold more substances than emiting them, more than an adult. The body of a child takes in more radioactive substances in food, drink and air we breathe than adults. Especially dangerous are 137 and Cs-134 and 137 and Sr-90 – deposited in the muscles or in the bone (see below).

4) Children have their whole lives ahead of them. Some diseases caused by radiation take a long time to occur (latency): 20 or even 30 years. Children are more likely than older adults to reach the dubious chance to see the end of this latency. In the human body there are about 200 different cell types, each has a different function.

Basically, each cell can respond to injury with four responses:

1) The damage is so severe that the cell dies.

2) The cell can repair the damage (in children see above).

3) The cell loses its ability to produce certain substances, such as in the pancreas gland which can not produce insulin anymore (increase of diabetes in Belarus among children and adults) or other digestive juices during the growth, of the thyroid hormones.

4) The malignant cells degenerate and there is cancer.

It is now clear: Any radiation poses a risk especially for children who are extremely radiosensitive.

The effect of 4 isotopes of iodine -131, Strontium-90, Tritium (H-3) and cesium – 134 / 137 on the human body I will now show more detail, not without pointing out the most toxic isotope, plutonium (Pu-239), that triggers in micrograms cancer. It is produced in each reactor in the fission of uranium, about 250kg per year and reactor.

Endocrinologists from the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf and the Belarussian endocrine advice centre in Minsk cooperated on an investigation into the development of diabetes amongst children and young adults in Belarus. Over a lengthy period, 1980 to 2002, the incidence rate (new illness accumulation per annum) of diabetes mellitus Type1 – diabetes with insulin deficiency, mainly amongst young adults – was observed in two areas of Belarus that had been contaminated to very different degrees. Data from the highly contaminated Gomel area was compared with that of the comparatively slightly contaminated area of Minsk, during the periods 1980-1986 and 1987-2002. A total of 643 patients from the Gomel area and 302 patients from the Minsk area were involved in the analysis. In the years 1980-1986 (before Chernobyl) there was no significant difference between the incidence rates in Gomel and Minsk. In contrast to this, for the years following Chernobyl (1987-2002), there was evidence of a significant difference (p<0.001) in the incidence rates of both areas. The authors also discovered that the incidence rate in the Minsk area before and after Chernobyl was not significantly different, but it was in the highly contaminated Gomel area (p<0.05), where annually about twice as many children and young adults developed diabetes mellitus Type 1 after Chernobyl, as compared to the years before Chernobyl. Radiation is not life-friendly. It is a hostile factor. Life has prevailed against this hostile factor. The natural radiation. The beta radiation of strontium has a range of 1 millimeter. No matter where it is installed, it reaches the stem cells with its beta radiation. From the stem cells, everything is made. So the stem cells are bombarded constantly. What are the symptoms? We received the following reports by the children of Chernobyl: Chernobyl AIDS. Symptoms of anemia with decreased number of red blood cells. A therapy resitant anemia.

Vitamins and iron will not help. The ongoing hemorrhage, the bleeding e.g. from the nose. Decreased number of platelets, which are indeed involved in blood clotting. The immune system of children. They are always sick, every little infection “throws them around”. They constantly have colds, infections. And low white blood cells in the blood. This is easily explained: With a Bone marrow suppression: The bone marrow – due to the constant bombardment – and especially because of the accumulation of strontium – lost the ability to compensate.

Radioactivity means selective delivery of energy. On the molecules in our body. They are tiny pinholes in the shortest possible time. But with full force. We are constantly exposed to such radiation damage each second. Every second. Permanenent.And life could not exist and the information of Life could not be passed on, if we have not developed effective repair mechanisms. But the repair mechanisms are very complex and it takes time. The shorter the life cycle of a cell, the less time remains for the repair. This explains why children with rapidly growing tissue, with rapidly dividing cells – are particularly sensitive to radiation. Mitosis.

Irradiated areas and relatively “CLEAN” areas. Children have Cesium in their bodies, no matter if they live in “clean” or irradiated areas. This is one important fact these maps show. Why is that? The average irradiated soil in Belarus is: 1 – 40 Curie per square kilometer (= 37,000 – 1,480,000 becquerel per m²) of radionuclides, such as Cesium 137, Strontium 90, Americium 241 and other radionuclides. It reaches also 160 Curie per km², although it is 40 on official maps, but reaches 18,500,000 becquerel per m² in some places. The circles on the region graphic mostly show GREEN and YELLOW. Green means: Children have 0 – 20 Becquerel of Cesium 137 per body kilogram (2,20 pounds or 35,20 ounzes). Yellow means: Children have 20 – 100 Becquerel of Cesium 137 per body kilogram.
Whole Body Counters: They give you an average of the WHOLE burden in your body of radioactive atoms (Cesium 137 for example) in Speed (Becquerel) per body Kilogram (bq/kg). BUT: It is a WHOLE and NOT a PARTIAL BODY or PARTIAL ORGAN SCANNER. There is a tiny flash each time energy is given out by the radioactive atoms in your children (in the crystals of the device). It appears below a chair in which your child sits. This flash is “translated” into / via a program / computer into Becquerel per Kg. The device is shielded with lead against background radiation. And it is NOT invasive, not dangerous for you and your child. This means: a) If you have 20 Bq / Kg Cesium 137, you can have 10 or 100 times more Cesium 137 in your heart and / or cardio vascular system, because Cesium mimics potassium. And b) a child takes in even 3 to 5 times more substances, among them of course radioactive atoms. The fast metabolism does not help, and the mitosis even accelerates the damage.

Lessons from Belarus to Japan: 555 kBq per m² (15 Curie per km²) to 1,480 kBq per m² (40 Curie per km²) cause 50 – 60 milli Sievert per year for the people living there – according to Belaraus National Report 1995 [the year when Belarus stopped aid for irradiated areas with 1 – 5 Curie km² (37 kBq per m² – 185 kBq per m²)]. Exclusion Zones start at 18,500 kBq (18,500,000!!!) per m² of Cs-137, 455 kBq per m² of Sr-90 and 150 kBq per m² of Pu-239. Very very high tolerance levels, if we take into account, that Bandashevsy proved, that 20 Bq – 50 Bq of Cs-137 per Kg of the body (not kilo Bq! normal Bq!) are already letal for children! 1995: the level of air contamination exceeded by 10 and more times the pre-accident data even for “clean” places, like Minsk.

The river sediments of Dneeper, Sozh and Pripjat, Neman, Zapadnay and Divina increased Cs-137 by 80%. This is only official state data. It reached also backwaters: The Sr-90 activity varies from 2,2 – 66,0 up to 407 – 4,215 Bq/Kg). Alpha-radionuclides density in riverbed sediments is higher than in river waters: Pu238 from 0,005 – 9,10 Bg/Kg; Pu-239-240 from 0,13 – 28,13 Bq/Kg; Am-241 from 0,07 – 16,2 Bq/Kg. In the 90ies the levels fro Cs-137 and Sr-90 exceed pre-accidental levels in ground water 20 – 30 times and in underground waters 10 times and more. Chernobyl turned the soil into a collector where accumulation and prolonged retention of long-living radionculides occur.

Today contaminated soil functions as the main source, which delivers various components of radionuclides into the biosphere. At at distance of 150 – 200 km to Chernobyl: Gomel in Belarus: 2,271 kBq/m² (61 Curie per km²) and Mogilev (146 Curie per km²) can be found. In Bragin (Gomel) Cs-137 contamination is 174 kBq per m² up to 2,523 kBq per m². Radionuclides are distributed into forest photosynthesis: this is the growth line for Cs-137: wood < branches < needles < forest litter. For the living soil cover the line is as follows: herbaceous plants < lichens < mosses. The maximum is in the root system and ground vegetative part of plants, and considerably lower in generating organs. Accumulation degree for Sr-90 in meadow plants is twice as large as compared to Cs-137. The permissible levels for mushrooms is 7,4 kBq per m² for mushrooms. Terretories are called clean if contamination density is lower than 37 kBq per m². For berries of the red worthle berries family varies from 37 to 185 kBq per m². Migration processes of marketable animals and birds cause high specific activity of game registered even on relatively clean terretories. The presence of radioactive isotopes in practically all components of the natural and natural-techno-genic ecosystems with density much higher than before explains their involvement in the geo-chemical and biological cycles of migration. This stuation causes different ways of external and internal irradiation of the population and jeopardizes people’s health. We don’t get more data today, it is covered up by the state. So we go back into the 90ies: Thyroid illnesses morbidity of the children of Gomel area in 1994 (indices per 100,000 children: Total in Belarus 1086,20 – Total in Gomel area: 3594,30 – Contaminated area (> 555 kBq per m² / > 15 Curie per km²): 16159,70. Thyroid cancer morbidity of the children of Gomel area in 1994 (i.p. 100,000 children): Total in Belarus: 3,20 – Total in Gomel area: 12,00 – Contaminated area (> 555 kBq per m² / > 15 Curie per km²): 77,50. Tumour morbidity of the children in Gomel area in 1994 (i.p. 100,000 chidren): Total in Belarus: 101,10 – Total in Gomel area: 154,90 – Contaminated area (> 555 kBq per m² / > 15 Curie per km²): 245,40. Malignant tumour morbidity of the Children of Gomel area in 1994: Total in Belarus: 13,80 – Total in Gomel area: 27,10 – Contaminated area (> 555 kBq per m² / > 15 Curie per km²): 103,30.

As you may already know, there are 44 thyroid cancer children in Fukushima and some of them even have matastasis in their lymph nodes.

 

私も最近、気づき、まったくうかつだったと思っているのですが(また私がうかつなのは性格上のものですが、なぜその他の人も騒いでいないのか、不思議でならないのですが)、事故数か月後に東大の児玉龍彦教授が言った7q11遺伝子を見れば、甲状腺がんが原発事故由来のものかどうか(原発事故由来であれば、7q11染色体が3つになり、これは他の甲状腺がん患者には見られない現象)、直ぐに特定できるのです!

 

 

 

I recently became aware that if we conduct gene test on 7q11, we can identify whether the thyroid cancer was caused by nuclear accident or not, since the 7q11 shows trisomy that cannot be observed among other kinds of thyroid patients.  This was mentioned by Dr. Tatsuhiko Kodama soon after the accident (I am blaming myself why I did not notice this most important point myself and why all the others have not pointed this out, either…)

Therefore, I asked Fukushima Medical University on the following points on September 12, 2013.

1、報告会以前にリンパ転移の甲状腺がんの福島の子供が出たと聞いているが発表に入っていない。隠しているのではないか?

I heard that there have been Fukushima thyroid cancer children who got metastasis in their lymphs before the August 20th report by the Prefectural Health Survey team.  Has this grave fact been concealed?

2、児玉龍彦先生が7q11染色体を見れば、被曝によるものかどうかわかると発表したが、染色体検査はしたのか、するつもりはあるのか

According to Dr. Tatsuhiko Kodama, director of Tokyo University Radioisotope Center, if 7q11 gene is tested, it will be identifiable whether the thyroid cancer was caused by nuclear accident or not.  Has Fukushima Medical University conducted such test or any intention to conduct this test?

福島医大からの回答:保険診療の場合は、具体的な症例の情報を健康県民管理センターで持つことはできない。病院においては、個人には説明、第三者に発表するものではない。染色体の検査の必要性は、今後、県民健康管理調査で議論されるべきものと考えられている。7q11遺伝子の検査は行っていない。
Answer from the Fukushima Medical University:
In case of medical service under health insurance, the information of each patient cannot be retained in the Fukushima Prefecture Health Management Center. In the hospital as well, such information cannot be provided to the third party.
As for the need to conduct gene test on 7q11, it could be argued in the Prefectural Health Management Survey team.  As for now, 7q11 gene test has not been conducted yet.

In short, even though there are metastasis among thyroid cancer kids in Fukushima, no such announcement will be made.
7q11 gene test that can identify the cause of the thyroid cancer has not been conducted!
これは大変な話です。そして国内で他に、甲状腺がん手術をする有名病院2箇所にも、問い合わせをしましたら、「患者からの要望があっても、染色体検査はしない」との回答。
This is such grave facts.  I also contacted some major hospitals in Japan which conduct thyroid cancer surgery, and asked whether they could conduct gene test upon the patient’s request, and their answer was “No.”
これはもう、国内では、原因特定をすることもできない、そして、転移ガンについても発表もされない=事の重大性が、患者本人、および家族だけにのしかかり、社会問題に一切されないという国内医療体制の現状を知りました。
In Japan, even after the Fukushima accident, the cause of the disease cannot be identified anywhere and the metastasis of the thyroid cancer in contaminated areas are going to be kept secret!  Accordingly, the suffering of the patients and their families will be kept behind and the medical society has been and is going to ignore this most urgent social issue!

The evacuation of Fukushima children is the most pressing issue.

私には、国連を始め、なぜ世界が動いてくれないのか、全く理解できません。
(それどころか、国連は、福島における被曝で健康に被害はなかったという報告書を準備していると聞きました。)

I really do not understand why the world organizations such as UN, etc are not making any move.
(On the contrary, I heard that the UN is now preparing a report to convince the public that there have been no health damages due to Fukushima radiation!)

福島の甲状腺がんの子でリンパに既に転移している子が少なくとも2人出ているそうです。ちなみに甲状腺がんはまだ小さいそうです。

Today, on twitter, I just heard that at least two kids who went through surgery in Fukushima were found to have not only thyroid cancer but also metastasis in his/her lymphs though their thyroid cancer size were reported to be small.

一刻も早く子供たちを汚染地域から避難が求められます。

It is a matter of urgency to evacuate children from contaminated areas as soon as possible.

また、県立福島高校では、事故のあった年に2人の突然死が出ました。(TVユー福島 -TUFというローカルな放送局の報道局長の大森真氏が、騒ぎを鎮静化するため、なんとツイッターで一人は交通事故死であったという嘘をばらまきました。 TUFは大森氏の虚偽の発信を認めたものの、謝罪はしていません。)

In Fukushima Prefectural High School, two students died of illnesses (one was sudden death) in the year of the accident.  (However, TUF-TV You Fukushima, local TV station’s broadcasting chief Mr. Makoto Omori, tweeted a lie saying that the second student died due to traffic accident to calm down the case. TUF admitted that Mr. Omori lied on the twitter but never apologized for it.)

この8月の発表では、全校生徒数959人のこの高校に2人の甲状腺がんが見つかったそうです。

In this August, two students were found to have thyroid cancer out of total number of 959 students in the same school!

Already, there have been 43 thyroid cancer and suspected cases among Fukushima kids in this August.  However, considering that the large number of kids have not gone through the second exam, the number could be over 100, which is 3.7 thyroid cancer out of 10,000 although child thyroid cancer rate is usually between one in one million or several hundred thousands.

既に初期被曝をしていて甲状腺がんもその他の健康被害も出てしまった後ですが(安倍首 相がオリンピックの招致の演説で話した、「健康被害は昔も今も将来もない」というのは、事実ではありません)、さらなる被曝を少しでも防ぐために、汚染地 帯の子供は非汚染地帯に移住させるべきです。

In order to prevent further exposure to radiation, children in contaminated areas should be relocated first though they have already been exposed to initial dose and thyroid abnormality rate has been increased.  (Prime Minister Abe’s statement in front of IOC members, “There have been and will be no health damages,” is NOT TRUE.)

同時に、今拡大しつつある福島の子供たちの甲状腺がんが、放射線によるものであるかどうかを直ちに見極めるため、遺伝子検査を実施、結果を即公表する必要があります!

On September 13, when I asked the Ministry of Environment, they answered that they have not decided whether they were going to do genome analysis.  However, I am not sure whether this information is true or not since I heard that Fukushima Medical University tries to hurry the thyroid cancer operation without obtaining sufficient consent from the patients’ mothers (according to multiple sources)

また、米医学誌のCancer Cellに9月9日掲載された、広島大学の稲葉俊哉教授らの研究によれば、7番染色体上のSamd9L 遺伝子をマウス実験で失わせたところ、片方失わせたものについては53%、両方失わせたものについては60%の割合で2年一か月以内に白血病もしくは MDSで死んだという。Samd9L遺伝子を失うことで、異常な細胞の増殖に歯止めがかからなくなるとみられるという。

In addition according to the research paper by Hiroshima University Professor Toshiya Inaba,  mouse whose Samd9l on 7th chromosome is damaged, 53% (with 2 of them lossed) and 60% (with one of them lossed) mouse developed leukemia or MDS and died within 2 years and 1 month.  By loosing Samd9L, multiplication of abnormal cells could not be stopped.

Flaw 1: Critics point to the huge cost of the atomic industry. At the same time these critics are demanding more safety. But this Request for more safety means more money for the nuclear industry. Such critics are as bad as the atomic industry. They are both friends.
No matter how much money and no matter how much safety: In order for a reactor to run it must emit Radioactive atoms into our air, soil, food and bodies.The nuclear industry does not know what to do: laugh or yawn at us and our so called “criticism”. And it is running for decades. It is not possible to win this fight like that..

Flaw 2: It is always maintained that a nuclear explosion can not take place in a reactor. This is said so that we make a difference between bomb and reactor. Thus, the nuclear industry can continue to exist. That is the MAIN argument. And why the fairy tale of the meltdown was invented by them. And all the critics chatter these tales, and thus support the nuclear industry. An AtomicBOMBexplosion is not possible – BUT: a nuclear explosion of the reactor is possible and also happened. Namely, when promptly and violent supercritical state of a dry reactor generates a lot of fast neutron forming chain reactions. The temperature is 100,000 times lower than that of a nuclear BOMB explosion, but higher than any chemical temperature, and the explosive force reached “only” 250 tons of TNT In Chernobyl, but it IS POSSIBLE! Thus, the nuclear industry would have NO chance any more to exist and would be forever ended. But the critics love their meltdown lie. This goes on and on for decades, and the industry laughs and yawns at us. Although this nuclear reactor explosion scenario is known since the 1940ies.

Flaw 3: A containment is built to keep everything dangerous inside. This is a lie. First there are the venting chmineys releasing 370 bq radio iodine and 1,850,000 bq of radioactive gases per second and unit, all the time. Who controls the limits of the emissions? The operator!Then there are the Steam Relief Valves – spring loaded – are venting the radioactive atoms into the air, or going to the dry well. In case of an emergency, in western reactors the pressure is going up in the containment which can destroy the containment totally – so the operators have to vent it – the fuel – out. They melt the reactor fuel and vent it out. This is official. Such scenarios exist in the U.S. / NRC programs.

4 years BEFORE Chernobyl exploded:
In September 1982, a fuel channel in the center of the core of the Unit 1 of the Chernobyl NPP was destroyed as a result of mistakes made by the personnel. A large amount of radioactive substances was released to the industrial site of the NPP and the city Pripyat. The personnel involved in the liquidation of the consequences of this accident received high irradiation doses. / Chernobyl had it’s first accident, it went super critical during a TEST. Can a reactor go supercritical? Yes. Supercritical is the same as a nuclear explosion of the reactor type (less yield less temperature than a bomb type, mind you). If this is possible it contradicts the law, the regulations. A containment cannot contain a nuclear explosion. Nothing can. So, the containment is constructed (pressure cooker) to avoid it. It avoids it by VENTING. But this also contradicts the regulations: The containment can no longer CONTAIN the radioactive material (which is aerolized / gaseous during venting), so it is against the rules. Both ways contradict the rules. So, the officials LIE to us, by saying “Meltdown”. They always say it, when the FUEL is GONE, so we fall for the illusion it went down, instead of UP and OUT, via pipes, chimney, valves, dry-well and x vessle breach. This way the industry survives, but not DNA.

IAEA and UNSCEAR, as well as TEPCO and the governments have missed – in their view – the point long time ago to inform humanity about the true emission of radioactivity by TEPCO. They can not be trusted, this is vital. We must draw our own conclusions, and take care of our protection. The non dominant mutations will rise in the next generations and cause a massive die out as in most primitive times. The effects are now: Cancer, Dementia, Diabetes, Autism, and so on. This is not just a phase or phenomenon but harbinger. Normally, new mutations should be rejected with each generation, now climb the old and the new stay even. Better medical care will not alleviate the overall problem, but increase the burden on future generations..

In the nuclear age this is to render assistance.

Fast Breeders: Pure Uranium 235 or Plutonium is used as fuel, the chain reaction can be maintained by fast neutrons. The neutrons are not slowed down by thermal velocities. Excess Neutrons are absorbed by depleted uranium surrounding the core. And so they form more and more plutonium. A Hell Machine. And not a solution.

We are surrounded by pseduo humanitarian experts.
Here’s a trick to expose anti nuclear experts as pro nuclear experts; Ask them what they think about Low Dose Radiation Damge. If they answer:
“The Risk is Small” – they are fake, uninformed, or mislead the people by strategic misinterpretation. Ignoring the Children and Fetus Mitosis, the Latency of Damage and the Long Term Genetic Effect. Usually on one hand they will stand up for radiation victims and attend prominent congresses – in order to get money and improve their reputation – on the other hand they deny any damage caused by low doses. This is going on for decades. All of them think so: IAEA, UNSCEAR, RERF, TEPCO, Health / Public Authorities, World Health Organisation, ICRP. They are the reason why the whole Nuclear Business including Nuclear Bombs can go on. Try it out, it works,

Many people just have amputated their imagination power and reality is still greater than imagination – that scares them, so they prefer facts. And here our experts come. With their templates aka text books. Everything behaves to standards. No reason for fear.To lose fear and forgetting things is also a critical mass.

You believe in the meltdown hypthesis = You support TECPO and IAEA. You support the restart of the japanese reactors, because meltdown means reactors contain dangerous materials during accidents. Mostly. That is not the case, they use their valves and chimneys to get rid of pressure and core material.

The DNA is designed not to “forget”,
while the shell “around” It can have the illusion,

And geneticists.

The genetic mutations are expressed at the advanced age of the individual. For us that was “aging” or “Being old”. Now there is in children: rheumatism, dementia, cancer. The previous generations had the chance of becoming old, but were already “affected”. We’re not getting older, but age faster. By genetic load. This is known to the ruling class since at least 60 years (two generations). But no geneticist loses a word about this expiration date of huge parts of the human race.

In the eyes of those in power, there can be nothing better than hatred, suspicion and false focus, among the to be dominated people. They become a simple controllable mass. They call for retaliation and military spending can rise.

How do you decontaminate something that is smaller than any decontamination process, something of which this very decontamination process consists: atoms / energy. How to decontaminate forms of energy, releasing parts of itself, no matter what you do? How to decontaminate natural laws? How to stop time and space from being?

Reality is something you press into a template and you can color it the way you want. Standardized radiation maps, and evac zones, means continuing the nuke business and saving money.

It is hard to track down all health effects of radiation, because it can cause everything bad we know.

TV Asahi director who covered thyroid cancer in Fukushima (maybe he was the only one in mainstream media in Japan) died suddenly and the police reported that he committed a suicide.  However, strangely, this case has not been reported by any media at all.

It is not known worldwide, but in Japan, there have been mysterious deaths related to nuclear industry in the past…for example…

2014年「反原発嫌がらせ展」にて、来場者の一人が、当時、西村さんの担当した海渡 雄一弁護士に、原発関連の事件は、明らかな殺人や不審死であっても自殺にされる。当時、刑事裁判にできなかったのかと問うと、海渡弁護士の顔から笑みが消 え、厳しい表情で頷き、時間きれで話しを切った。

Mr. Yuichi Kaido, the lawyer for this case didn’t make it as a criminarl case over the homicide though there are abundant of proofs including medical records and X-ray photoes.  He has’t given any clear answer why he didn’t fight over the “homicide” at the court…

1995年もんじゅ事故が起き、ビデオ隠しがあり、マスコミが追跡中にもんじゅ事故調 査担当の西村成生(49歳)が自殺と見せかけ殺されました。私はご遺族にも直接話を聞き、医療カルテやX線写真、遺体の写真を直接見せてもらいました。8 階からの飛び降りの遺体ではなく複数の法医学者が他殺と断定

In 1995, Monju sodium leak and explosion accident occured and Donen Co., was accused of concealing the videotapes of the accident site.  During the media fuss, the Monju accident investigation team leader, Mr. Shigeo Nishimura (49) was suspected to have killed under the disguise of suicide.  I myself visited Mrs. Nishimura’s house and saw the medical records and X-ray photoes.  According to Mrs. Nishimura, multiple number of forensic doctors judged that Mr. Nishimura was killed by somebody, not killed himself.

新聞報道とは裏腹に、頭蓋骨にも鎖骨にも頸椎にも骨折は見られない。

No fractures on his skull, neck, or sholders were seen contrary to the newspaper report.

脳幹部分に白く空気の混入および筋肉筋が見られる。飛び降りではなく、殴殺であり死亡まで時間がかかったとみられる。

Trace of white air intrusion is observed in the brain stem and chest muschles.  These show that there was some progress of time before he died after he got injury, and thus he didn’t kill himself instanteneously by jumping off from the 8th floor.

深部体温から死亡時刻が合わず、その時間にホテルに行っていない可能性。宿帳にも記載なし。
The reported time of his death did not much with his deep body temperature, which implies that he had not been to the hotel where he committed suicide.  There was no signature of him on the hotel registration card either.
遺書の最後日時の数字の筆跡が異なる。遺書は社用便箋、死んだ後、筆記用具が行方不明。遺書は「マスコミが騒ぎすぎるのを批難」し、その後マスコミは鎮静化。

The handwriting of the numbers at the bottom of his suicide note was different from the ones of Mr. Nishimura.  His suicide note criticized the fuss made by the media and media companies refrained from reporting on Monju accident then after.

おかしなことに、動燃理事長が遺書の内容をなぜか変更しながら読んだ。
Strangely, the board director of Donen changed the contents of Mr. Nishimura’s suicide note.

2005年雑誌『新潮45』に、西村夫人が他殺説の記事を発表したが、動燃から反論一切来ず。

Most of all, when Mrs. Nishimura wrote an article accusing Donen as a potential suspect of Mr. Nishimura’s death in 2005 on a monthly magazine, Shincho 45, there was not a single counterargument from Donen.

西村氏の医療カルテやX線写真で、他殺なのは明らかなのに、私はどうしてもここがわからないのです。

I really cannot under stand this point, since “homicide” is quite obvious from Mr. Nishimura’s medical record and X-ray photoes.

ちなみに西村さん側の海渡雄一弁護士は、昔から反原発裁判に多くかかわっている有名な方で、福島みずほ社民党党首のパートナーの方。

ちなみに他殺を強く疑うようになった西村さんは、海渡弁護士の前には、原子力資料情報室の西尾漠氏のところに話を持っていきましたが、西尾氏には、「こういうニュースは扱えません」とすぐに拒否されてしまったそうです。

(ただし、海渡弁護士も原子力資料情報室の役員でもあるので、同じ組織の中でたらいまわしにあったわけですね。でも裁判では、他殺の件は無視された。。。)

When Mrs. Nishimura began suspecting a homicide of her husband, she went to see Mr. Baku Nishio, the Co-director of Citizens’ Nuclear Information Center (CNIC, Japan’s biggest anti-nuke organization) for consultation.  However, Mr. Nishio’s reply was, “We cannot deal with this kind of information.”

(But Mr. Yuichi Kaido is a board member of CNIC and in the end, “Mr. Nishimura’s homicide” was ignored in the trial.)

この海渡雄一弁護士は、反原発弁護士の中心的人物であり、福島原発原告団の弁護士でもあり、反原発市民団体の中心的人物。それを指摘したら、なぜか多くの市民活動家がそれを無視して私を攻撃しています。

* 注:この取材メモを見せたら、NHKディレクターの林勝彦氏が、「こんな国家の根幹にかかわるような事件を俺が番組にするわけないだろう」と私に捨て台詞 を吐いたのでした。この林氏は、その前まで原発についての番組を作るから、いくつも企画を見せてみなさいと言い、私から情報を集め何もしてくれませんでし た。後から林氏が、NHK従軍慰安婦問題番組改ざんの裁判でも被告であったことを知りました。

Note: When I showed my following script, NHK director Katsuhiko Hayashi disregarded it saying, “I would never make any program on such an issue which could topple the very foundation of the nation.”  Before showing this, Mr. Hayashi asked me to write several plans for anti-nuke TV programs so that he would help making them, which was a lie and he only intended to gather information from me.

M:警察がからんでいるというと?

M: What do you mean by the involvement of the police?

N:警察がうそを発表した。警視庁に記者クラブが入っているので、それ以外はTV局の人も入れなくなってしまう。もちろん警察は大きく絡んでいると思う。皆警察から情報もらっているから、なにも出来なくなる。警視庁の記者クラブから排除されると。じれったい。やれる範囲内でやるしかないが。

N: The police announced falsified news.  The Metropolitan Police Department has its own press club, and other people cannot enter it without any exception.  Even TV people cannot get in.  Of course, the police is deeply involved in this case.  Everybody gets information from the police, so we cannot do anything once we get ousted from the press club.  It is so frustrating that we should manage to do things only in our scope of actions.

N:現場を何回か見に行った。結びつかない部分がある。遺体が8階から飛び降りたものでない。頭がパンクしたり、体がパンクしたり、といったものでなく、なぐられて殺害され、体がパンパンに腫れた状態だった。警察に言って聞いたが、警察は飛び降りに間違いないと言う。

I went to see the site number of times.  There were some mysterious points. First the body was not the which fell from the 8th floor.  My husband head or body didn’t have any rupture.  Rather, he seemed to have been swallen from being battered and killed.  I went to the MPD to ask this point, but the police said that it was undoubtedly jump-off suicide.

N: 現場の写真は警察も取らなかった。救急車で運ばれる前に行っているのに。警察で取っている写真は担架に載って、現場の駐車場で道路の手前でうつぶせになり 背広を着ているものだけ。固まっている体だった。異常な状態。気をつけした状態で真下を見ていた。普通は横を向けたりするのが、固まっているから首も横も 向けられないような完全に硬直している写真だった。それで、警察に「これはなんなの?」とたずねた。

N: The police even didn’t take photoes of the site.  The police went to the site before the ambulance came.  The only photo the police took was in the parking lot where my husband was lying on the stretch with his face down in his suit.  His body looked hard and strange (considering he had jumped off from the 8th floor), because he lay with his face down and his arms straight on each side of his body.  Usually, they lay a dead body with his face sideways, but the body on the photo seemed to be so hard that nobody could turn his neck.  So I asked the police, “What is this?”

M:飛び降りた人の状態ではないですよね。

M: It doesn’t seem to be a person’s body who jumped off from the building.

N:飛 び降りた人なら、落ちたところを写真を撮っているはず。たくさん取っているはずが、一枚だけしか見せてもらっていない。背広の後ろとズボンにカキザキが 入っていた。上から飛び降りてそんなのありっこない。素人が見てもおかしい。靴も、はいたままか、とんでもないところにないとおかしい。それが担架の左右 にあった。おかしい。

N: If he really jumped off, a number of photoes should have been taken on the spot where he fell down.  But I saw only one.  He also had ripped trouser bottom.  I don’t think there could be ripps on such a place if he fell of the building  I am a layman but it really looked strange.  The shoes should have been on his foot or been scattered apart.  But in stead, they were on both side of the stretcher.  It really looked funny.

M:警察の怪しげな行動があったと聞きましたが。

M: Were there any strange reaction from the police?

N:こちらから名刺を渡し、立会人も連れて行った。3回 目に言った時に、調書を見せてくれた。まずは本庁に言ったが、受け付けられず、後日警視庁の中央署にアポを取っていった。まず名刺を出したが、刑事課長は 名刺渡せないという。課長代理の広瀬さんは名刺をくれた。主に課長代理が説明したが、課長ははそばに居て、時々説明に加わる。写真の時に課長が説明しよう とした。カキザキを聞いたら、筋肉が膨張して破れたのだという。冬物のウールが破れるものかなあと。説得力ないな、隠しているものがあるなと思った。

N: I visited the police with an observer and gave my business card.  When I visited the third time, the police showed me the investigation note.  To see this investigation note, I went to the headquarter of MPD, but I was rejected, so I made an appointment with the MPD central station to see them on another day.  There, I gave my business card to a leutenant chief but he said he could not give his business card to me.  In stead, the acting leutenant chief Mr. Hirose gave me a card.  The acting chief was giving main explanation and the chief joined once in a while.  On looking at the photo, the leutenant chief tried to explan the reason of the rips.  He said that Mr. Nishimura’s muscle was swallen so that the throuser bottom was ripped.  I was thinking to myself, “Could it be possible to have ripps on the winter wool trousers?  The leutenant chief was not quite convincing.  He may be hiding something.”

N:遺体の写真がそれしかないのは、おかしい。他にあるものは出してこない。そんなの説得力ない。どこかから担架に持ってきたのではないかと思った。

N: It is quite strange that the photo was the only one.  The police didn’t let me see other photos, and I could not be convinced by them.  I even guessed that the police could have carried him on the stretcher from somewhere else.

N:レントゲン写真は5月 の始めにレントゲンの写真入手することで来た。それまで一年は警察か動燃かに行っていたがなかった。聖路加国際病院で持っているとは気づいてなかった。先 生(医者)に電話したら、なぜもっと早く電話しなかったかと言われた。もしかしたら何かあるのかしらと思った。一週間以内に会った。そしたら、いろいろ話 してくれた。「聖路加に運ばれた時は亡くなって十時間たっていた」と言われた。そうだとしたら、ホテルなんて泊まってない。記者会見のときが十時間前でし たから。

N: I was able to obtain the X-ray photo in the beginning of May.  Until then, about a year or so, the photo had not retained the X-ray photo in the police or in Donen, but they didn’t show that to me.

I was not aware that the X-ray photo was retained in St. Luke’s International Hospital.  As I got aware of that, I called the doctor to make an appointment, he told me, “why didn’t you call me earlier?” So I thought to myself, “Maybe there is something about my husband death.” I met the doctor within a week.

The doctor told me various things. “When Mr. Nishimura was carried into the hospital, he had been dead for 10 hours.”  If that was the case, he could not have stayed at the hotel!  Because 10 hour prior was the time of his press conference.

N:変だなあと思った。聖路加には動燃の人がいっぱいいて先生は近づけなかったと言う。

N: I thought that was so strange.  At the time of incident, there were so many people from Donen, and he could not make his way.

M:先生から西村さんにコンタクトしてくれても良かった。10時間の根拠は?

M: The doctor could have contacted you (Mrs. Nishimura) from his side.  What about this 10 hour prior death?

N:深 部体温と遺体の写真。写真が一番わかりやすい。書類にも書いてあるが写真がわかりやすい。レントゲンも取った。レントゲン写真も渡したいと言われた。一週 間以内に取りに来て欲しいと言われた。一週間以内に取りに行ったら、新聞などで言われた頭蓋骨骨折や胸がばらばらというのは違った。私が見た遺体は全然き れいだった。外で見たら頭蓋骨に骨折なし。法医学教室に行って見てもらいもした。レントゲン専門技師も呼んで説明してもらう。頭蓋骨は骨折していないと。 慈恵医大の人だった。

N: The photo of deep temperature and the photoes show.  Photoes  in the medical report show most clear evidene.  X-ray was taken, too. The doctor told me that he wanted to pass me the photoes.  He asked me to take the photoes within a week.  When I visited him to receive the X-ray photoes, they didn’t show any fractures of skull or chest parts which were reported on the newspaper.  The X-ray I saw had no injuries.  I didn’t see any fractures on the skull. I took the X-ray photoes to forensic doctor.  The doctor called in some X-ray technician and he also gave eplanation.  He said that there is no fracture on the skull.  He was from Jikei-Idai Hospital.

N:深部体温は、例えば、直腸体温、聖路加の場合は頭の中央。ここは血液の粘土質があって、体型や性別年齢に関わらず、正確な数字が出てくる。生きている人は37度。なくなると体温下がっていって、主人の体温は27度でカルテに3箇所書いてある。10度下がっているので、10時間前になくなっている。一時間に一度下がる。

N: The deep temperature is taken at rectum or at central part of the head (The latter method is taken at St. Luke Hospital.)  Regardless of physique, sex, age, here is some argillaceous blood and accurate figures can be taken.  Living human beings have 37 degrees celsius but when a person dies, this temperature goes down and my husband was 27 degrees, which was written at 3 places of his medical record.  Since the temperature went down by 10 degrees, he should have died 10 hours prior.  When a person dies, this temperature goes down by one degree each hour.

N:推定死亡時刻が合っていない。死体検案書では朝の5時になっている。ホテルにとまりに行ったのが0時45分と警察発表。すでにその時間にはなくなっている。そうするとホテルに泊まっていた事実が覆される。

N: The estimated death time did not match with the deep body temperature.  According to the necroscopy report, his death time was 5 am.  The police announced that he went to the hotel at 0:45 am.  However, according to the estimated death time from his deep body temperature, by then, he should have been dead.  If that was the case, he even didn’t stay at the hotel.

N:記者会見が10時5分まで。その後、ホテルに行くちょっと前にはもうなくなっている計算。
N: The press conference was until 10:05 pm.  Based on the calculation from the deep body temperature, my husband should have been dead before he arrives at the hotel.

N:外でなくなった場合と部屋でなくなった場合違う。外の気温は6度くらい。

N: The estimated death time differes whether he died outside or inside.  At that time, the outside temperature was around 6 degrees celsius.

13日の6時ごろ発見。気温が全部出ていた。一時間毎の大手町で測っている気象庁で測っている気温を考えてやると、今度は・・・法医学の教科書があって、時間当たりの直腸温度があって、これを見ていくと、ここは10時間以内。ここは37度、ここが生きている人。27度になっている。10時間はたっている。テキストどおりに見れば27度であれば10時間たっている。細かい計算だが、これはちょうどいい。

His body was found around 6 am on the 13th.   According to the temperature measured at each hour by the Meteriological Agency and the forensic text book, here you can see that he had died within 10 hour prior, since his deep temperature became 27.  10 hours had passed before his death according to the textbook.  This is rather a detailed calculation but these materials are good references.

N:ホテルの外でなくなっているなら、0時45には亡くなっている筈。ホテルに入る前だ。部屋の中であれば、20度くらいとして、もっと早い時間になくなっている。外で最悪の状態としても、ホテルに入る前になくなっているのだから、:ホテルに泊まったという事が、体温から見ると計算にあわない。
N: If he died outside of the hotel, he should have died at 0:45 at the latest.  That is before he came to the hotel.  If he had been inside the hotel room which should be around 20 degrees, he should have been dead earlier than this.  Even if he had been dead outside, according to his deep body temperature, he should have been dead before he entered the hotel.  So the very fact that he stayed at the hotel does not match with his deep body temperature.

N:これがレントゲン写真の頭蓋骨。この横向きのレントゲン写真でおかしいところがあるのだが、この白くなっているところは、空気が入ったら、人間は呼吸できなくなる。脳幹の上のところに空気が入ると人間は呼吸できなくなり、死亡してしまう。

N: This is the X-ray photo of his skull from the sideways.  There is one mysterious point on this.  The white part shows the inclusion of air, which disables a person to breath.  If there is air inclusion in the brain stem, that person cannot breath and die.

N:聖路加の先生によると、鼻の骨がやられてそっから空気が入ったんでしょうと。鼻から殴られて、鼻がへこんでそして脳幹のところに空気が入ってそれでやられたんでしょうと。先生は最初に見たのだから、わかっている。多分そうでしょうといった。

N: The doctor at St. Luke Hospital said, “Probably his nose bone was damaged and the air came in from there.  He was punched on his nose and his nose was busted, and then the air came into his brain stem.”  The doctor saw my husband body first, so he should know.  The doctor said that was most probable.

N:こ こら辺に筋肉の筋が入っている。生きている人は筋肉の筋はうつらない。横隔膜、肺が破れると空気が流れていく。筋肉に筋が入るのには時間が掛かっているは ず。筋肉に空気が入るのに時間掛かる。即死でなくて、亡くなるまでに時間掛かっているはずだと。即死だと空気が流れない。

N: Also, there are traces of stripes in the muscle here and there.  There cannot be this kind of stripes in alive body.  When diaphragm or lungs are ruptured, air flows into the muscle.  Before these stripes appear on the muscle, there should be certain progress of time, because it does take time before the air actually intrudes into the muschle.  Therefore, my husband didn’t die on the spot, and in stead, he died after some time.  If he died on the spot, the air could be flown in.
N:ア バラも鎖骨も折れてなくて、背筋もまっすぐ。上から落ちたらこんなものですまない。この辺の肋骨が折れているだけだった。その辺がおかしい。警察発表と全 然違う。報道機関に持っていっても何食わぬ顔。警察が言っているからと。警察が訂正しないと訂正できないと。どこにいったら本当のことを訴えられるのだろ う。

N: His ribs or shoulder bones were not broken and his spine was straignt.  If he fell off from the building, they could be like these.  In his case, only a few ribs were broken.  Strange, but the reality was totally different from what the police had announced.  I took these photoes to the media companies, but media people didn’t respond, saying, “But the police said this and that.  We cannot make correction unless the police makes the correction.”

Where can I report this to?

N:そのうち自分も体調も悪くなって、精神不安定になって。1年くらいはね。調べだしてレントゲンとか出てきたら、自分自身落ち着いてきた。動燃や警察はいくら聞いても絶対説明してくれなかった。飛び降り自殺と言われても、遺体がそうでなかったからどうしてもおかしいと思った。

N: After my husband death, I became sick myself physically and my mental status became unstable for about a year or so.  But when I started searching and saw the X-ray photo, I came to myself.  Donen and the police had never given me proper explanation no matter how I asked.  Though they insisted that my husband committed a suicide, I thought it was so strange since the body didn’t tell so.

N: 主人がなくなってから世の中も動燃も警察の動きもおかしかったので、なくなった前後から日記をつけ始め、全部で250ペー ジ以上になった。なかなか刑事事件にならないので、なんとかして自分の経験や耐えてきたことを出せないかと思ったときに、新潮45で出したらどうかと言う 話があり、経緯を出すことになった。裁判に関係ないことも日記に書いた。「私の夫は動燃に殺された」というタイトル。

N: Since my husband passed away, the move of Donen, the police, and the society as a whole was unusual, so I started keeping a diary around that time.  I wrote more than 250 pages.  Since my husband case did not become a criminal case, I wanted to release what I have gone through and I have withstood, then a publisher gave me a proposal to release an article from Shincho 45.  In the article, I wrote things which were not related to the trials.  The title was, “My Husband was Killed by Donen.”

N:どうなんだろうと思うかもしれないが、私は誰かに何人かで主人を殺したのではないかと思っている。遺体が飛び降り自殺でない。顔も形も体も全部そのまま残っていた。

N: You may not be able to believe it, but I think multiple number of people killed my husband.  His body was not the one who jumped off from a building.  His face, figure, physique all remained as they were.

M:動燃からは、その記事が出た後に修正(訂正)せよと言う要求はありましたか?

M: Did Donen ask for any correction on the article after the release of the magazine?

N:一切ないですよね。 私の証人尋問のとき、向こう側が「あなたは夫が殺されたと思っていますか」と。私は「思っている。しかし警察が告訴を受理しないからどうにもならない」と 答えた。国のがんじがらめのところでどうにもならないのかな。例えば警察絡んだ事件がなかなか解明できないのは怖い。殺されたのは私としてはうやむやして はできない。

N: Not at all. In the court trial witness examination, the other side lawyer asked me, “Do you think your husband was killed?” I said, “I do. But I cannot do anything about it since the police doesn’t accept my accusation.”  I wonder there is nothing we could do in the issues in which the government is tightly involved.  It is scary that we cannot get to see the truth when the police is involved.  However, I cannot hush up on this matter since my husband was killed.

M:私だけでなくて、誰も本当にうやむやに出来ない話。科学的なことのほかに、あと遺書もありましたよね。

Not only you, but nobody should hush up on this case.  There are some scientific evidence, and you said that there was somehing about his suicide note, didn’t you?
N:遺 書って言っているが、私は遺書でないと思っている。例えば、遺書でおかしいと思ったのは、遺書をこういう社用便箋に書くか?自分の会社での肩書きをつけて 書くか?また時間まで細かく書くか?3の数字がまったく別の人が書いているように見える。遺書でなくて始末書のように見える。

N: They say it was his suicide note, but I don’t think so.  For example, do you think one would write his suicide note on a company letter pad?  And with his own title in his company and with precise time?  Moreover, his writing of 3 seems to have been written by another person.
It didn’t look like a suicide note, rather, it looked like a written explanation for his company.

N:平成8年1月11日6時に書いている中間とりまとめ。動燃がとりまとめとして科技庁に出した書類。ずっと読んで最後の5ページを見るとまとめの欄がある。そこの文言で、「事故から事件に代えた最大の要因」など、いろいろなところで、遺書と同じ文言が似ているのがいくつか出てくる。

N: Here is the interim report prepared at 6 pm January 11, 1996 submitted to the Science and Technology Agency by Donen.  In the summary on page 5 bottom, there are some similar wordings to the suicide note, such as “biggest factor that changed the accident into a case.”

「現場の本社役員一丸となって全社総力でこの中間まとめに盛られた方向に沿って実施しこの難局を切り抜けている決意です」というところで「一丸となって」というのがどこかにあった。3つか4つ同じような言葉が出てくる。

Also, there was a word, “as a single body (Ichiganto natte)” here and there, perhaps in 3 or 4 sentences, such as, “We, the board members of the Headquarter are determined as a single body to overcome this difficult situation by implementing the actions in line with the direction stipulated in this interim report.”

中 間報告は誰が書いたかわからない。最終的には理事長が承認して提出。稟議書があって、最終的に理事長の決裁がある。動燃としてやっていくことが遺書にも書 いてあるのは、それは主人が理事長だったら書くかもしれないが、次長だったら、上のほうでもなんでもない。自分が一丸となってと言うなんて、やりすぎじゃ ないのと私はやりすぎでないかと思う。

I don’t know who exactly wrote the interim report.  The report was supposed to be handed in after the approval of the Director General eventually.  There is a draft proposal to be approved by the Director General in the end.  If my husband was the Director General in Donen, there could be a possibility he wrote something like that in his suicide note, but he was only a vice-chief, who was not in the position high above.

I think he was way too much by saying, “…as a single body.”

全 社総力とか職員一丸となってとか、そっくりの文言があるが、他の書類にはそういうのはなかった。最近になって知った。主人は動燃の過ちを書かねばならな かったのか?なぜ遺書に書かねばならなかったのかわからない。これからやっていこうと思うと書いておきながら、死んでしまう。死んだからといって動燃のた めにならない。なくなるとしたら、ちゃんと説明すると思う。死んで解決にならない。

There are some other similar wordings such as “all-out effort by the company” or “staff as a single body” In other documents, there were no such repetition of these words.  I came to be aware of this (the common points between the interim report and his suicide note).  I wonder why my husband had to write some mistakes done by Donen in his suicide note.  He was saying what they should be doing and he killed himself.  Killing himself does not contribute to Donen.  If he had to kill himself, he should have explained the reason of his suicide.  By killing himself, there will be no solution.

もんじゅ自体が普通の原発と違って難しい。主人は事務畑で、技術畑でない。いくら頑張っても技術の難しい部分は理解できない人だ。

Monju itself is difficult unlike other nuclear power plants.  He himself was an administration staff and not technical staff.  No matter how he made effort, he could not have understood difficult technical stuff.

この遺書は納得できない。日付や時間がなければ、また動燃の便箋でなければ、まだよいが、こういう形では、あまりにも内容が信じられない。まるで主人が動燃を代表しているような遺書だ。

I cannot understand his suicide note by any means.  With the date, time, and the company letter pad…I just cannot believe the contents of his suicide note in such a form.  It ws as if he was representing Donen at that time.

理 事長はさらに、遺書を読み上げるとき、内容を変更して読んでいた。その場でこんなに変更できるか。毎日新聞で読んだとおりに全文出したが、オリジナルの遺 書と違う。言葉も内容も少し。順番も後ろを先に言ったり。急に変更して読めるものか?別の書類を持って出たのでは。記者会見の場で。そうでないと急に変え られない。

In addition, the Done Director General was changing the contents of his suicide note when he was reading!  Could it be possible to alter the sentences of someone else’s suicide note?  Mainichi newspaper released the entire note, but some sentences were different from the original ones, both wording and the contents.  The word or phrase orders were going forward or backword.  Is it possible to read the suicide note by altering them on the spot.  I guess they prepared different version of the note at the press conference.  Otherwise, the Director General could have altered the wording on the spot.

N:理事長は今年6月13日に亡くなっている。何年か前に証人尋問に出てきた時に、「記者会見の場で遺書を別のものを読み上げるほどの能力があるのか」と聞いてみた。遺書を読むのなら、一字一句間違いなく読んで欲しい。

N: The Director General passed away on June 13 this year.  When I spoke as a witness examination, I asked, “Could it be possible to read a different wording suicide note on the spot at the press conference?”  If he was reading my husband’s suicide note, I wanted him to read the wording precisely word by word.

ここなんか面白いですよ。「我々動燃で働く人々は明日へのエネルギー確保のため自負を持ち、これまでもこれからも頑張っていこうとしています。」

N: (Showing the suicide note)

This sentence here also sounds strage. “We, the workers at Donen are detemined to make our continued effort with our pride to secure the energy for tomorrow.”

主 人は動燃の代表みたいなことを書く立場ではない。もっと上に人がいるのだから。部長、室長、役員だとか。次長がこんなこと書くか。私は動燃社員だからわか る。やりすぎ。自分が代表したような。理事長が書くのならわかるよ。これはどっかでマスコミで披露して欲しいために書いた遺書としか思えない。誰が見ても おかしい。亡くなる人が動燃のいく末を考えて死ぬか?

N: My husband was not in the position to write something as if he was the director general of Donen.  There were many people above him.  Department chief, section chief, board members…how could a vice-chief write such sentences?  I used to be a worker at Donen, so I know it was too much.  His writing was as if he was a representative of the company.  If he was the director general, that would be understandable.

But I believe this was a suicide note that was intended to be disclosed by the media.  This suicide note was strange to anybody’s eyes.  How can a person who is going to kill himself in the next moment would think about the future of Donen?

私への遺書。3時40分 まで生きていたのかしらと疑問。こんな一枚で、後のこと頼みますなんて。二人の子どもをねえ。冗談じゃないわよと思ったの。そして、動燃の仲間にお世話に なって感謝しているなんて。書かされたのではないか。マスコミに対しての怒りの文言。マスコミが異常だったから、自分が怒りを感じて死んだといっている。

This is his suicide note for me.  It says 3:40.  I wonder whether he was actually alive at 3:40.  I just could not believe that he left this short note asking me to take care of everything afterwards.  He left me and two sons.  I said to myself, “Enough of jokes!”

In the suicide note, he was even thanking to the coworkers in Donen.  I thought, “he was forced to write.” “He was forced to write some words of anger against media.” In his suicide note, he said that he was going to kill himself because of anger against the media which was extraordinary fussy.

マスコミが騒いだから死ぬことになったといっている。マスコミに主人は出ていなかった。でもマスコミがどう騒いだからとか、言ってない。主人の記者会見は報道にもならなかった。テレビにも雑誌にも主人はまだ出ていない。実況中継したかもわからない。やっていないと思う。

My husband was saying that he was going to commit suicide because the media was fussing around.  My husband was not even in media.  He was not telling me anything about media’s fuss.  His press conference was not even broadcasted.  He didn’t appear on TV or in any magazine.  I don’t think he appeared on TV live.  I don’t think so.

3回記者会見やったが、多分報道になっていない。いきなりやったので。どこかは取っているかもしれないが。。

There were 3 press conferences but probably none were broadcasted because all of them were held without much prior notice.  Maybe some TV might have recorded, but…

一回目の記者会見はTV朝日が取っている。2回目は理事長記者会見とっている。3回目は亡くなる直前。取っているところはどうだか。報道は縮小されるし。3回目も取っているかもしれないが、一切出てきていない。
The first press conference was recorded by TV Asahi.  The second press conference with the Director General was recorded by TV Asahi.  The third one was just before my husband died.  I wonder whether any TV company took it or not.  Maybe some company might have taken it at the 3rd press conference, but it was not shown on any TV program.

ところどころ、ザスクープなんかでは、一回目と2回目が少し出てくるが。主人が出てきたのは3回目のみ。主人は自殺するまで注目されたり上げ足も取られていたこともなかった。

The TV program, “The Scoop” had broadcasted some part of the 1st time and 2nd time, but my husband appeared only in the third press conference.  He was not paid any attention or criticized until he committed a suicide.

N:主人が亡くなることによって、マスコミも引いちゃいますよね。過熱していたものが。
By my husband’s suicide, media companies retrieved from the overheated coverage.

M:なくなる日の朝、新科技庁長官の中川氏のビデオをとってほしいだとか頼んだわけで、普通だったのですよね。

M: I remember you said your husband had asked you to videorecord Mr. Nakagawa, the newly assigned Science and Technology Agency chief, on the morning of his death.  He was acting normally, right?

N:その頃、特命を受けていて帰ってこないこと多かった。1月4日出勤してから、二日しか帰ってきてない。何が起きたかわからない。もんじゅに出張したり、動燃で徹夜したり。結局話す暇がなかった。

N: In those days, he often stayed outside due to some special assignments.  After he left home on January 4th, he only came back twice.  He came home on 8th 9pm and 12th 1pm.  I didn’t know what was going on.  He went to Monju or stayed all night in Donen office and so on.  I didn’t have much time.

12日朝7時半に出社。夜8時から10時5分 に記者会見、それから霊安室。いったい何がこの人に起きたのか?動燃でどんな仕事してたの?と。この紙見たときに、書かされたと思った。会社の紙に書くわ けない。上司に提出する書類、別の会社にお願いする時に提出する事があっても普通は持たされない。メモ用紙代わりには使えない正式書類の紙だ。

He left on the morning of 7:30 of 12th.  He attended the press conference from 8 pm to 10:05 pm on that day.  Then he was in the mortuary.  What on earth happened to my husband?  What kind of work were you doing for Donen?

When I saw his suicide note, I thought, “He was forced to write this.”

It could be possible for him to choose a company letter pad for his suicide note.  Usually, company letter pad is not possessed by company workers.  Only when they write something to their superior or make some proposals to other companies, they use the letter pad and they usually do not have it.  The company letter pad is an official paper not being used for memo or note.

大畑理事が第一発見者ということになっている。説明を聞いたときに、FAXがどこにあるのですかと聞いたら、青ざめてその場からいなくなってしまった。理事長秘書の田島さんへの遺書もあるのだが、飲み屋で遺書を渡されるのが頭にきた。そんなに安っぽい主人の命なのだろうかと。

It is said that the director Ohata was the first person who found him.  When I heard his explanation in a pub he called me to come, I asked him, “Where is the FAX my husband received at the hotel?” Then Mr. Ohata became pale and he was gone from the pub.

Prior to this, Mr. Ohata gave me my husband suicide not to Mr. Tajima, the secretary of Director General in the pub.  I was furious that Mr. Ohata gave me the suicide note in such a place.  I thought that he was considering the life of my husband as such a cheap value.

田島さんが週刊誌で答えるのには、遺書の万年筆部分があるのだが、万年筆が見当たらない。また残余の紙もない。遺品の中にないと言うのはなぜ?違うところで書いたのではないか?
Mr. Tajima, the secretary of the Director General answered to a magazine reporter regarding the suicide note written by a fountain pen, but there was no fountain pen left.  Also there were no extra sheets left from the letter pad.  Why weren’t there any pen or left-over sheets in his remain?

I suspect my husband wrote his suicide note in some other place (not in the hotel room).

動燃から午前2時過ぎにホテルに送った5枚のFAXがない。

He was supposed to have received 5 FAX sheets around 2 am in the hotel, but there was no FAX.

1月12日の10時5分までは記者会見。1月13日の0時45分にホテルにチェックイン。ファックスが2時過ぎ。だがチェックインの宿帳もFAXも出てこない。なぜいまだに一切出てこないのか。受信記録も出てこないし。当初から言っているのに、出してこない。

My husband was in the press conference until 10:05 pm on January 12, 1996.  He was supposed to have checked in the hotel at 0:45 am and received FAX at 2 am.

However, there was no hotel registration record or FAX.  Even now.  I cannot get the record of receiving FAX either and I was asking for these thing right from the beginning but they do not submit these items.

一緒に泊まった総務部担当の大畑理事もそのFAX持っていないという。

Director Ohata, staff in the Management Department, who was staying in the same hotel as my husband didn’t have the FAX either.

今回裁判でいろいろわかった。大石理事長となんのためにホテルに泊まったか。大石理事長、安藤理事と渡瀬室長が証人尋問に出た。3人ともホテルに泊まると知らなかったといった。ホテルに泊り、次の日に福井に出張することも知らなかった。聞いていなかったという。

I came to be aware of various things.  For what purpose my husband stayed at the hotel with the Director General Oishi.  Director General Oishi, Director Ando, and Section Chief Watase came to the witness examination.  All the three members said that they didn’t know that my husband was going to stay at the hotel.  They haven’t heard that he was going to stay at the hotel and would go for the business trip to Fukui (where Monju is located) the next day.

3回目の記者会見は安藤理事と渡瀬室長と西村だった。しかし、この2人は西村が福井に行くことを知らなかった。一緒に泊まった大畑理事と田島さん、文書係長の富田さんだけが知っていた。

The third press conference was held by Director Ando, Section Chief Watase and my husband.  However, the other two didn’t know that my husband was going to Fukui next day.  Only Director Ohata and Mr. Tajima (secretary), and Mr. Tomita, the Document Chief new about it.

渡瀬室長は広報部長で自分の知らない記者会見はないといっていた。予約をしてないと福井県のほうも開けない。

Section Chief Watase was also the Public Relations Manager and he said that there was no press conference which he wasn’t aware of.
Without reservation, they couldn’t conduct any press conference in Fukui.

普通は出張する時には下着やハンカチ、その他を持っていく。急に決まったとしても広報部長が知らないわけがない。

When he goes on a business trip, he used to carry underwears, handkerchieves, and others.  Even if the conference was decided with a short notice, the Public Relations Manager should have known it.

福井で記者会見があるとしても理事長が発表内容を承認しなければならないので、ありえない話だ。

Also, the Director General should have accepted the contents of the release of the press conference, so it was impossible to have a conference on the following day.

次男の15日の成人式を楽しみにしていた。なにが失敗していたとしても、自分の子どもの成人式を祝ってやるのが親。

My husband was looking forward to the Coming of the Age Ceremony for our 2nd son on January 15th.  Whatever failure he did, a parent would be celebrating his own son’s Ceremony.

被害者の家族が裁判費を使って裁判やらねばいけないのかと思うと、日本の制度が情けない。主人の亡くなり方は国が関わっていると思う。それで私たちが、こんなことまでしなければならないかと思うと情けない。

It is really a pity that a family of a victim should pay for the court trial fee in this Japanese judicial system.  I believe the government is involved in my husband’s death.  It is a shame that we have to do all these by ourselves.

解決するかどうか、主人が亡くなったとき何が起きたかを知っている人は動燃職員、科技庁の人も関与しているかもしれない。私のほうでは調べようがない部分ある。もんじゅなんて動かしていたら、このような事件ひとつ解決できないようなもんじゅはあぶなっかしい。

I don’t know whether this case will be solved or not.  I think Donen workers know what was going on with my husband’s death and maybe the staff of Science and Technology Agency might know.  There are something I cannot make a search myself.  If Monju went into operation, it would be very risky since even this kind of case cannot be solved.

私が黙っていたら、もんじゅがそのまま再開するだろうが、すぐ事故が起こると思う。私は社会に役立つかわからないが、なんとかしてみんなにわかってもらいたい。

If I kept silence, Monju will restart its operation and will have an accident right away.  I am not sure whether I could be useful, but I would like to make my utmost efforts to let people know about this case.

Mrs. Nishimura Interview 2

なくなった次の年平成9年5月1日に聖路加病院にもらいにいったんです。

I went to get the X-ray photo on May 1st, the following year (1997) of my husband’s death.

ここは気管に挿入するために入れる器具が、こういうふうにうつっているんです。

遺体を見たときには、頭蓋骨骨折となっているのに、そうも見えないかった。担当の先生も頭蓋骨骨折していないといった。

My husband had allegedly had fractured skull, but the photo didn’t show that.  The doctor also told me that there was no fracture.

こ ちらは側面からのもの。気管を開くために救急隊の人がいれたものです。骨折はしていない。どこがおかしいかというと、息をしている人は、ここは(頭蓋骨中 心部)は真っ白にうつらない。ここが白くなると息が出来なくなる。西村さんはここが白くなっているから、ここに空気が入ってなくなったのでしょうと。あ と、首も異常はないと。警察発表とは違って。

This photo shows from the sideway.  The equipment was inserted to open his tranchea.  There was no fracture.

The funny part was that the central part of the skull cannot be white if the person was breathing.  If the central part becomes white, that person cannot breath anymore.  In case of Mr. Nishimura, since there is white shadow, probably air intruded here and died.  There was no abnormality on his neck either, contrary to the police official information.

こ ちらは胸のほう。胸郭。生きている人だったらうつらないものが移っている。ここに線が入っている。両方とも筋がすーと入っている。これは筋肉の筋。筋肉は 生きている人はこのように残らない。亡くなるのに時間が掛かった時に入る。即死では入らない。亡くなるのに時間が入った。肺か横隔膜に穴が開いていた。

This is the chest part X-ray.  There are something which would not show in case of a person who is alive.  Here you can see lines, both sides.  These are lines along with the muscle.  Alive person would not have these lines.  These lines emerge only when the person died after some time.  He did not die on the spot.  It took some time before he died.  He also had holes either on his lung or diarphram.

一時間以上掛からなければこのような筋は入らない。エアは入らない。

Unless he died one hour after some initial impact, this kind of lines would not show.  There would be no air intrusion like these.

打撲を受けて時間掛かってなくなるとこういう映像が残る。放医学関係の人は、これをみただけで飛び降りではないとわかる。胸の骨も鎖骨も残っている。背骨も残っている。8階から落ちるとまず鎖骨がおれ、首から背骨も異常がないのはおかしい。

If a person got blows on his body and he died after some time, this kind of X-ray photo can be observed.  Forensic doctors can see ritht away that the person did not kill himself by jumping off a building.  The photo shows his ribs and collar bones as they were.  Even spines. It is quite wierd that a person who jumped off from the 8th floor high did not have any impact on his neck or spine.

鎖 骨は誰でも折れる。ちょっとしたので折れることもある。見ただけで普通の専門家はわかると医者に言われた。聖路加にも法医学の教室にも持っていて、見ても らった。慈恵医大の先生は、法医学の人とレントゲン専門の人2人。刑事事件になると、どっかの大学の法医学の人が鑑定することになる。その時に呼べなくな ると困るので名前はふせたい。

One’s collarbones could be fractured even with a small impact.  The doctor told me that any expert could tell by looking at the X-ray for a glance.  I brought the X-ray photoes to St. Lukes and forensic classrooms.  At Jikei Medical University Hospital, I showed them to a forensic doctor and X-ray technician.

I do not want to tell their names since I cannot call them in if this case becomes a criminal case.
上野正彦さん、「死体は語る」の人だが、一番有名。彼にも見てもらった。裁判になると上野先生が出てくる可能性ある。もうひとり、東京医科歯科大学の支倉先生。はせくら。今はしゃべれないそうだ。平成十年くらいにすぐ聞きに行った。

I also showed the X-ray photoes to Japan’s most famous forensic doctor, Mr. Masahiko Ueno.  In case of criminal trial, he may be called in.  Another person was Dr. Hasekura from Tokyo Medical and Dentistry University.  He told me that he could not speak up then.  I met him around 1998.

主人が亡くなってからしばらく遺品も見れなかった。主人は何をしていたのだろうと、一周忌過ぎてから、やっと主人の遺品を見た。ダンボールをあけてみたら、いろいろ出てきた。動燃ってなにをしていたのだろうかと。

I could not take a look of my husband’s remains.  But one year after his death, I finally opened his remains.  When I opened the cardboard boxes, various things were there.  I was wondering what Donen was doing.

ひとつの箱から動燃が会社ぐるみで選挙応援していたのがわかった。しかも代々続いていたもの。後輩に譲るものと譲らないてよいものが。平成5年くらいの衆議院選挙の対応。こんなこと、動燃がやっていいのか。取りに来ないのも変。私が渡すべきもの?なぜ取りに来ない?

From one box, I found materials which showed that Donen as a company was supporting elections for many years.  There were materials handed down to surbordinates and so on.  The material I saw were related to the 1993 lower house general election.

Is it legitimate for Donen to conduct such thing?  It was funny that Donen didn’t come to my house to pick these things up.  Or should I return these things to Donen?  Why do they not come to my house to retrieve them?

5 年では東海事業所の管理部長だった。その時の選挙に対する、組織ぐるみでバックアップしているのがわかってびっくりした。梶山セイロクと塚原俊平の票を割 り振って応援していた。ここに残っていたのは応援の仕方いろいろ書いてあった。動燃内で二派に別れ、出陣式や食事会など。

In 1993, my husband was a control manager at Tokai branch.  I was surprised to see that he was backing up the election as an organization.  They were supporting Mr. Seiroku Kajiyama and Shunpei Tsukahara.

Various ways of backing these two were recorded.  Donen was divided into two groups and they held kick-off ceremones and meal parties.

応援して欲しいとどこに来て欲しい場所。東海事業所と大洗事業所のバックアップ。それと講演会。二派に分かれていた。特殊法人なので、普通はこういうことはやってはいけない。私的な会社なら出来るが、公共的機関では禁止されている。

The documents specified person to support and where to go for that purpose.  Both Tokai branch and Ooarai branch backed these two people.  They also organized forums for these two people.  Since Donen is a semigovernmental corporation, these kinds of actions are not allowed.  If it was a private company, it is allowed, but if it is govenment related corporation, it is banned.

仕事そっちのけでやっているのがわかった。計画表とか、動燃の役員の体制。梶山と塚原を応援する名簿も。会長、会長代理、担当役、事務局。自民党を通すのに一生懸命。書類の中から受け止められていた。

I could tell that my husband was focusing on these activities without doing much regular work.  He wrote schedules and organization of Donen board members including lists of people who supported Mr. Kajiyama and Mr. Tsukahara.  The list included, the charman, the acting chairman, persons in charge, secretariat.

I could tell that they were making atmost effort to let Liberal Democratic Party to win.  I could tell from these documents.

梶 原セイロクは、後に、主人が亡くなったちょうどその日に官房長官になった。橋本が首相。どんなに不祥事が起きても、梶山が力を尽くした。例えば事故が起き ても表に出てこないように、国民にわからないようにということが結構あった。例えば、東海事業所で事故が起きたのにふせられた。うやむやに書いてあるけれ ど、かじやまのおかげで表に出なかった。これより前の話だ。どっかにでてくるはずだ。95年の事故の前に。

Mr. Seiroku Kajiyama became the Cabinet Chief Secretary on the day when my husband died.  Mr. Ryutaro Hashimoto became the Prime Minister.

No matter what kind of scandals arose, Mr. Kajiyama did his best not to make the scandals into public such as minor accident by Donen.  There were minor incidents which were not known to general public.  For example, one time, there was an accident in Tokai branch, but it was concealed.
It was recorded implicitly, but thanks to Mr. Kajiyama, the accident didn’t become public.  It was prior to the Monju accident, before the year 1995.

塚原は通産大臣なので、そういう意味で力はある。なによりも原子力と直結している大臣だ。私も、ここまで名簿が割り振っているのかと。。。
Mr. Tsukahara was the Minister of MITI, and he was powerful in that regard.  More than anything, he was the Minister who had direct connection with nuclear business.

I was surprised that lists were complete for both parties.

塚原会と梶山会とあって、山之内所長、戸田副所長、大畑部長(一緒に居た人)、高木部長代理、田島課長(理事長秘書の田島)。Kが梶山、Tが塚原。こっちが梶山会、こっちが塚原会。割り振ってあるのがよくわかる。完全に割り振ってある。偏らないように。二人とも当選するように。何ページもある。

There were Tsukahara group and Kajiyama group under which Mr. Yamanouchi, the branch manager, Mr. Toda, the vice branch manger, Mr. Ohata, the department manager, Mr. Takagi, the acting department manager, Mr. Tajima, the section chief (the same Tajima who was the secretary of Director General)

K represented Kajiyama and T represented Tsukahara.

This list is for Kajiyama group and this one is for Tsukahara.  You can tell that there was allocation for both parties completely even way so that both of them could get elected.  There are many pages of such documents.

これ見てびっくりした。普通だったら動燃がとりに来ると思った。貴重だからね。なぜこんなのが残っているのかとびっくりした。

I was very surprised to see this.  I thought Donen would come to my house to take these.  Since these are very valuable.  I was surprised to see these remained in my house.

会社に置けないからと家に持って帰った。東海事業所から死ぬ3ヶ月前、平成7年9月末に東海事業所の管理部長から本社の総務部次長に10月一日に。その時の荷物だ。開けないでそのままにしていた。

My husband took these home saying that he could not leave these things in the company office.  That was three months before he died.

My husband was promoted to vice department manager of Management Department from the control manger at Tokai branch on October 1st 1995.  He brought this box at that time.  I had never opened the box.

ど うも東海2区と言うのは、茨城2区、取り扱い注意と書いてある、定員3名のところ5名の立候補予定者も書いてある。前回の平成2年2月12日の得票数も書 いてある。梶山は小渕派。34.07% 塚原は三塚派、73057票、22.52%、社会党が大きい。梶山より大きい。大畠。労働者も多いから。日立製作 所とか。

The document for Tokai 2nd Division says “Manage with care.” It says 5 candidates for 3 seats.  The document includes the last election’s vote on February 12, 1990.  Mr. Kajiyama was from Obuchi faction with 34.07%, Mr. Tsukahara from Mizuka, 22.52% with 73057 votes.

Social Democratic Party obtained a large number of votes, even larger than Mr. Kajiyama.  The candidate’s name was Mr. Ohata.  The area has many laborers since there are companies like Hitachi.

動燃が選挙対策本部まであるのだから。

Anyway, Donen had a headquarter for election.

東海村だったら、動燃と原研が主な。。。若い人がいっぱい居る。東海村には大きな会社はなくって。そこの票を取ったら当選する。社宅もあるし。そこを掌握すれば当選する。常陸太田のほうまで入っているかも。地元かも。

In Tokai village, Donen and Genken were major corporations with lots of young employees.  In Tokai village, there is no big company, so if a candidate gets votes from these two corporations, they will win the election.  There are company dormitories and if the candidates get control of these, they are sure to win.  Even in the district of Hitachi Ohta, these are the areas for the local district.

M: 必勝出陣式とかあって重要な事書いてある。出陣式はどこでやっていたのでしょう。

M: The document says, Kick-off Ceremony for Victory.  Where was the ceremony held?

ここら辺を見ると、役員会議室で何かやっている。石川一夫会長,平成6年6月25日より計画している。所対応は中田副所長と西村管理部長。持参品が酒券10本分。一升瓶だか、なんだか。。。よくわからない。ピーナツと言うのもある。50名動員なんて。大変なことだ。

N: By reading these pages, seems like they held the kick-off ceremony in the board members’ conference room.  It was planned by the chairman Mr. Kazuo Ishikawa on June 25, 1994.  Chores were done by the vice branch manager Mr. Nakata and Nishimura, control manager.

Things to be prepared were 10 bottles of Sake, I am not sure whether they were large bottles or not.  It also said, “peanuts.”  The ceremony convened 50 members.  It was quite a work.

動燃俊青会は塚原。これも動燃で別の方が応援することに。笹尾副所長、萩原部長代理。こちらも酒券10本。ばっちり計画を立ててこの通りやるという感じになっている。

Donen Shunsei Kai was for supporting Mr. Tsukahara.  This was done by other party in Donen with vice manager Mr. Sasao and acting manager Mr. Hagiwara.  This party also prepared 10 bottles of Sake.  Seems like it was well planned to carry out the mission.

こ れはかなりきつい内容。東海事業書総務課、衆議院選挙への取り組み。予想される候補者。総務課は西村さんがいらっしゃった部署。管理部の下に総務課があ る。管理部長だから、主人はその下に総務があるから、その中でこういうのが主な仕事だったのかとも。有権者数50万。支援組織、管理職層、梶塚に分割と あって。梶山会と俊生会と。大畠は組合が応援している。社会党が応援している。

This document here is quite controversial.  It says, “How to tackle with the Lower House General Election by Tokai Branch Management Section”  Here are the names of predicted candidates.  Management Section was the one Mr. Nishimura belonged to.  Under Control Department, there was the Management Section.  He was the Control Manager and underneath, there was the Management Section, and that was why Mr. Nishimura’s main work was like this.  The number of voters was 500,000.  It says supporting organizations, layers of management titles, division for Mr. Kajiwara and Mr. Tsukahara’s parties, Kajiyama Kai and Shunsei Kai.  Ohhata was supported by labor union backed by SDP.

M: 社会党は応援していないのですよね?-管理職は応援していない。

M: Donen was not backing SDP, wasn’t it?

N: No management teams were supporting Mr. Ohhata.

大畠章宏さん(社会党)は推進?-わからない。でも社会党は反対でないはず。。。

M: Was Mr. Akihiro Ohhata promoting nuclear?

N: I don’t know.  But I don’t think SDP was not against …

大畠さんが一番取っている。意外な事実が。37%

Surprisingly, Mr. Ohhata obtained the most votes, 37%.

大畠さんが一人くらい通っても良いという感じかな。後で大畠さんは調べてみます。

M: Maybe they thought just one person can win the election, which does not give influence.  Let me check Mr. Ohhata.

西村さんがなくなったときのポジションは、本社総務部の次長だから、この辺にいた。文書課はその前。東海事業所に行く前の前。若い時に文書課に。

Mr. Nishimura’s position was the vice manager of the Management Dept. of the Headquarter when he died.  He beloned to Document Section before he went to Tokai Branch.  He was working in the Document Section when he was young.

東海事業所が一番多く、この中に管理部があって、その中に総務課、労務課、労働課、経理課があった。本社に移動する前。なくなる三ヶ月前くらいまで。

Mr. Nishimura was working at Tokai branch for the most time, and in there, there was this Control Dept. under which there were Management Section, Labor Section, Work Section, Accounting Section.  He was there before he moved to the Headquarter, which was 3 months before he died.

本 社に移動したら、先ほどの上のほうまでいったわけ。総務部の次長。次長と言うのはある意味で中間。責任負わされて厳しい。権限があるようでない。部長並み には。部長は長尾さん。今回の事件には出てきてないが、死んですぐにうちに駆けつけて葬儀の采配をし、その後も遺族担当になって中心に動いていた。

After he moved to the headquareter, he was promoted to the vice manager of the Management Dept.  Vice manager is somewhere in the middle.  It was a tough work with responsibility, but there was not much actual authority, unlike the manager.  The manager then was Mr. Nagao, who didn’t appear in the case, but after Nishimura died, he came to our house and prepared for the funeral, and he played the main role to communicate with the bereaved family.

見張られていた?-葬儀の時になんで部長が来るのか、考えられなかった。葬儀の全体的な運営を長尾さんがやった。

N: Maybe we were being watched.  I could not think of the reason why the Manager Nagao came to my house at the time of funeral.  He coordinated over-all funeral ceremony.

親戚やお知り合いが追い払われていたとか、インターフォンが壊れていたとか

M: You said that your relatives and acquaintances were told to leave and your house’s intercom was broken.
長尾さんがまず来て、小さい葬儀屋が頼んであって、前金も払っていたのに、棚も花もセッティングしてあって、時間も決まり、帰ろうとしていたとき、長尾さんが入ってきて、びっくりした。

N: First Mr. Nagao came to my house.  When he came, I already arranged a funeral with a small funeral company and payed some in advance with the arrangement of shelves and flower sets.  I already arranged the time even and when the funeral company staff tried to leave, Mr. Nagao came into my house, which was a quite surprise to me.

駐 車場、ハイヤーが6台が入るところがないといけないと。駅のすぐ近くだから駐車場はないと。うちとしては60名でよいと思ったので、いいと思った。6台は よほど大きくないと。それで大きなところを紹介すると、電話を掛けた。たまたま空いていた。それで大きな葬儀屋さんが来て話をしていた。

Mr. Nagao told me that there should be a parking lot where 6 chauffeur-driven cars can stay.  I told him that the funeral place is just near the train station and there was no parking lot.  I thought it was fine since I plan to have a funeral with around 60 people.  But if we have to think of 6 hired cars, we need to use quite a big funeral place.  Mr. Nagao told me that he would arrange with a big funeral place and made a phone call.  He said that it happened to have vacancies, and the big funeral company staff came to my house and talked with Mr. Nagao.

だいたい骨壷とか衣装とか決まっていたのに、またやりなおしかと。

I already arranged an urn and costume, so I thought to myself, “Well, all over again..”

長尾さんが弔辞は4名にして欲しいと。葬儀の人が火葬場に間に合わないと、長々と議論。結局4名はオッケーになった。ひとり5分のはずが実際のところは弔辞で大変な時間を締めていた。

Mr. Nagao told the funeral staff to make the number of guests who give condolence messages to 4 people.  Then the funeral staff said that they could not make it to the crematory with such a schedule.  They kept long discussion and finally the staff said OK.  The condolence message was supposed to be 5 minutes for each person, but in fact, it became so long at the funeral.

通夜でもはいりきれないほど人がきた。変に思ったのは、主人の兄が、12月27日になくなった。普通の葬儀だった。それが普通だと思っていた。60名か100名以内。主人の葬儀は、波のように人が押し寄せた。

My house was flooded with people on the eve of the funeral. I thought it was quite strange.  My husband brother actually died on December 27th and it was a  common funeral with 60~100 people.  My husband funeral was flooded with people who was visiting us like waves.

線香も多く、煙で誰が来ているのか見えないくらい。子どもが同級生のお父さんとお母さんも来ているといっても、わからなかった。

There were so many sticks of incenses and due to thick smoke, we could not even see the faces of visitors.  I could not recognize my son’s classmates visiting us with their mothers and fathers.

動燃、動燃に出入りしている大きな企業だとか、弔問の記帳を見てあとでわかった。なんで取締役とかたくさんきているのだろうかと。名前だけ書いてある。原子力産業では有名な人も。(肩書き書かなくてもわかるような)

By looking at the registry book, I came to be aware that Donen and big coorporations which had relationship with Donen came to the funeral.  I was wondering why so many company CEOs were visiting.  I could see their names including famous people in the nuclear industry who can be recognized at once even without titles.

主人はそんなひとにきてもらう筋合いはないのに。政治的なものを感じた。記帳も弔電も残っている。外側の紙をとってもダンボール二箱。250通もある。中の紙だけをとってある。全国から来ている。

I didn’t think my husband was not in a position to have big name visitors like that.  So I sensed somehing political.  I have been keeping the registry books and telegrams of condolences in two cardboard boxes.  The telegram was as many as 250 and they came from all over the nation.
会計検査院、阿部事務局長とかおかしくない?

Don’t you think it was funny to receive a telegram from Secregary General Abe from Auditing Bureau?

常盤会堂ですか?うちのおばあちゃんと同じです。

M: Your husband had a funeral at Tokiwa Kaikan.  The same place as my grandmother.

電報重たくて動かすの大変だった。

N: It was quite heavy to move all the telegrams.

新聞の縮刷版を取っておくようになった。裁判をするようになってから。

N: After I started court trial, I’ve been collecting the newspaper clips.

裁 判でどういうことやるのかしらと。法律用語がわからないといけないといけないと思って犯罪被害者の会に入り、裁判をいろいろ見に行った。傍聴に何回も行 き、だんだんと言葉がわかるようになってきた。弁護士もとろとろしゃべっている人と何をしゃべっているかわからないひといた。でもうやむやにできないから やらなければと

I wanted to know what was going on in the trial, so I joined the Society for the Crime Victims and audited various court cases to understand legal terms.  I visitied courts a number of times to learn various terminologies.  There were some lawyers who were slow and not clear, but I could not make my husband’s case unclear.

主 人は1月13日の朝、夜中だが、政治的なものがからんでいるのではないかと。梶山会とか俊青会とか。切り離して考えられないと思った。当時の新聞を見ると 平成8年1月11日、蔵相窪、官房梶山決まった。橋本内閣1月12日。主人の記者会見は1月12日夜。政権交代のときに主人がなくなった。

My husband died on the morning of January 13 or in the midnight, but I thought there could be some political invovement with Kajiyama Kai or Shunsei Kai.  I could not detach this idea from my mind.

When I look at the newspaper in those days, on January 11, 1996, Mr. Kubo became the Treasury Minister and Kajiyama became the Chief Cabinet Secretary.  The inaguration of Hashimoto Cabinet was January 12th and my husband press conference was the night of January 12th.  At the time of turnover of the regime, my husband died.

偶 然ではなくて必然的に主人がなくなる事が決められていたのでは。橋本内閣が代わると言うのは突然決まったことではない。もともとこのひとたちが1月11日 の前は、もんじゅが事故おきて一ヵ月後くらい。橋本の前は村山だった。自民党が奪還するわけ。その時、梶山が官房長官になって、首相の次になって出てく る。選挙の時に動燃がバックアップした。

Maybe it was not a coincidence, but I suspect that my husband death had been planned.  The turnover of Hashimoto regime was not decided the night before.  The Monju accident took place one month before the January 11th.  The Prime Minister before Hashimoto was Murayama, and LDP took over the regime .  At that time Mr. Kajiyama became the Chief Cabinet Secretary and became the No.2 of the Prime Minister, who was backed up by Donen at the time of the election.

橋本内閣は金権政治。お金がないとのし上がれない。その時期に、1月12日の夜に記者会見、安藤理事(安全担当理事)広報室長、うちの主人がもんじゅの事故ビデオの内部調査の発表をした。橋本内閣の発足と本当に重なるように主人がなくなった。私は偶然でないと思う。

Mr. Hashimoto’s political means was money.  Without money, there was no promotion.  At that timing, on the night of January 12th, there was a press conference and the Director (Safety Director) Ando, PR Director, and my husband announed the investigation of the Monju accident video.

My husband was killed at the timeof Hashimoto Cabinet inaguration.
I think it was not a coincidence.

具 体的には、選挙で動燃が応援している。科技庁長官は中川秀直、その前は浦野さん。新聞に出てくる。警視庁出身である。福井新聞で、福井県知事が浦野長官に 詰め寄っている記事。県だけでなく全国も反対。12月24日ごろのデモもすごかった。一般市民が動燃に押しかけた。原子力政策としてはどうにもならない。 動燃はもんじゅやめてしまえというときに、浦野氏は責任を取らずに中川に代わる。

In concrete, Donen was assisting the election.  The Science and Technology Agency Chief was Mr Tadanao Nakagawa, and the predecesor was Mr. Urano.  It was on newspaper.  He was from the Metropolitan Police Agency.  In Fukui newspaper, the governor of Fukui was pressing the Agency Chief Urano.  Not only Fukui prefecure, but also the nationwide opposing voice against Monju.  The demonstration around December 24th was so vigorous.  Even ordinary people came to Donen office.  As for the nuclear promotion side, they could not do anything about it.

When people called for Donen to give up Monju, Mr. Urano stepped down without taking any responsibility and Mr. Nakagawa came to the position.

人 が亡くなったことで、事故をあいまいにするきっかけに。もんじゅのことが記事からなくなり、新たな生地は新たな内閣のことばかりになった。発足した大臣関 係に切り替わっていった。払拭するきっかけになった。マスコミが責めてからなくなったのではなく、マスコミを回避するきっかけをつくった。

With my husband’s death, the causes of the accident itself became vague.  Monju articles disappeared from the papers and newspaper was flooded with the new Cabinet.   The articles were changed into news regarding new ministers in stead of Monju.  It was not that media stopped blaming Donen but it was rather giving the reason for Donen to avoid media.

主人が亡くなったとき、梶山が告別式に来ている。普通は来ない。国政のほうが大事だ。官房長官、田中真紀子、浦野さんの前の人が主賓で来ている。考えられない。それでハイヤー6台かと。SPもついてくるだろうし。

When my husband passed away, Mr. Kajiyama came to the funeral.  Usually, this could not happen.  For Mr. Kajiyama, the state policy should be more important than my husband’s funeral.  As main guests, Chief Cabinet Secretary, Ms. Makiko Tanaka, and Mr. Urano came.
It was unthinkable.  That was the reason of 6 hired cars.  Of these these people should have been accompanied by special policemen.
