1 Becquerel = 100 % Damage!

Stochastic effects and children:
There is statistical health damage caused by the so-called low-level radiation (above ZERO up to 500mSv.) That is not assigned to any particular people, but occur in a defined population. This issue is the subject of thousands of studies all over the world since the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, and I will discuss in detail below with reference to examples. Factors such as age, gender, health, immune system, nutrition, social situation and the duration of exposure of the radioactivity influence the onset of cancer and other diseases. Until the Chernobyl disaster, the biological effects in the body of the
radioactive isotopes have been undervalued.

It is now clear: Any radiation poses a risk especially for children who are extremely radiosensitive.

1) A child is constantly increasing in weight and size, it grows from the intrauterine embryo to adult, the younger, the faster. Therefore, the cells divide much more frequently than an adult. Cells in the division phase (mitosis) are more vulnerable to radiation than cells in the resting phase.

2) The ability of the body to recognize “defective” cells and to  eliminate them develops during childhood. An embryo has not yet this ability. Therefore  “defective” cells can multiply unimpeded and later lead to cancer or heritable diseases.

3) A child that grows must hold more substances than emiting them, more than an adult. The body of a child takes in more radioactive substances in food, drink and air we breathe than adults. Especially dangerous are 137 and Cs-134 and 137 and Sr-90 – deposited in the muscles or in the bone (see below).

4) Children have their whole lives ahead of them. Some diseases caused by radiation take a long time to occur (latency): 20 or even 30 years. Children are more likely than older adults to reach the dubious chance to see the end of this latency. In the human body there are about 200 different cell types, each has a different function.

Basically, each cell can respond to injury with four responses:

1) The damage is so severe that the cell dies.

2) The cell can repair the damage (in children see above).

3) The cell loses its ability to produce certain substances, such as in the pancreas gland which can not produce insulin anymore (increase of diabetes in Belarus among children and adults) or other digestive juices during the growth, of the thyroid hormones.

4) The malignant cells degenerate and there is cancer.

It is now clear: Any radiation poses a risk especially for children who are extremely radiosensitive.

The effect of 4 isotopes of iodine -131, Strontium-90, Tritium (H-3) and cesium – 134 / 137 on the human body I will now show more detail, not without pointing out the most toxic isotope, plutonium (Pu-239), that triggers in micrograms cancer. It is produced in each reactor in the fission of uranium, about 250kg per year and reactor.

“In some areas where congenital diabetes had not been seen at all before the catastrophe, there were occurrences afterward and the number of cases has increased since 1986 (Marples, 1996).” PAGE 99: http://stopnuclearpoweruk.net/sites/default/files/Yablokov%20Chernobyl%20book.pdf

“Children are more endangered than adults, because their cells divide themselves constantly. Because they grow, they need permanent energy and have to deal with the impairment of their cells. With children, ailments will start earlier, one to four years afterwards, such as in the case of Chernobyl. Adults have a latency period for Cesium of 20-25 years. It is a slow death, adults who survived 25 years become ill now. The children got sick much earlier and often died.” http://fukushima-diary.com/2011/11/slow-death/

translation of “slow death” by Hohlie Hohltaube: http://vogelgarten.blogspot.com/2011/10/das-leise-sterben.html

Endocrinologists from the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf and the Belarussian endocrine advice centre in Minsk cooperated on an investigation into the development of diabetes amongst children and young adults in Belarus. Over a lengthy period, 1980 to 2002, the incidence rate (new illness accumulation per annum) of diabetes mellitus Type1 – diabetes with insulin deficiency, mainly amongst young adults – was observed in two areas of Belarus that had been contaminated to very different degrees. Data from the highly contaminated Gomel area was compared with that of the comparatively slightly contaminated area of Minsk, during the periods 1980-1986 and 1987-2002. A total of 643 patients from the Gomel area and 302 patients from the Minsk area were involved in the analysis. In the years 1980-1986 (before Chernobyl) there was no significant difference between the incidence rates in Gomel and Minsk. In contrast to this, for the years following Chernobyl (1987-2002), there was evidence of a significant difference (p<0.001) in the incidence rates of both areas. The authors also discovered that the incidence rate in the Minsk area before and after Chernobyl was not significantly different, but it was in the highly contaminated Gomel area (p<0.05), where annually about twice as many children and young adults developed diabetes mellitus Type 1 after Chernobyl, as compared to the years before Chernobyl. The highest mean incidence rate was registered in the Gomel area in 1998″ http://www.ratical.org/radiation/Chernobyl/HEofC25yrsAC.html

Radiation is not life-friendly. It is a hostile factor. Life has prevailed against this hostile factor. The natural radiation. The beta radiation of strontium has a range of 1 millimeter. No matter where it is installed, it reaches the stem cells with its beta radiation. From the stem cells, everything is made. So the stem cells are bombarded constantly. What are the symptoms? We received the following reports by the children of Chernobyl: Chernobyl AIDS. Symptoms of anemia with decreased number of red blood cells. A therapy resitant anemia.

Vitamins and iron will not help. The ongoing hemorrhage, the bleeding e.g. from the nose. Decreased number of platelets, which are indeed involved in blood clotting. The immune system of children. They are always sick, every little infection “throws them around”. They constantly have colds, infections. And low white blood cells in the blood. This is easily explained: With a Bone marrow suppression: The bone marrow – due to the constant bombardment – and especially because of the accumulation of strontium – lost the ability to compensate.

Radioactivity means selective delivery of energy. On the molecules in our body. They are tiny pinholes in the shortest possible time. But with full force. We are constantly exposed to such radiation damage each second. Every second. Permanenent. And life could not exist and the information of Life could not be passed on, if we have not developed effective repair mechanisms. But the repair mechanisms are very complex and it takes time. The shorter the life cycle of a cell, the less time remains for the repair. This explains why children with rapidly growing tissue, with rapidly dividing cells – are particularly sensitive to radiation. Mitosis.

Dear readers, after I’ve found Chernobyl chanterelles in german supermarkets (namely ALDI, REWE, EDEKA), I informed many facebooks communities and informed german consumer organisation foodwatch. My letter and their answer here:

I did two well visitied articles here, on my blog, along with photos, deep inside Cesium information and some footage I’ve made in Chernobyl irradiated Belarus (where the Chanterelles come from):

IAEA, UNSCEAR, ICRP, W.H.O., BEIR, officials, most common scienctists, atomic power plant operators ignore the dangers of internal low dose radiation. Learn here why: https://tekknorg.wordpress.com/2011/09/18/the-atomic-devil-strikes-again-iaea-general-conference-2011-sept-19th-23rd/

Japan allows 500 Bequerel for irradiated food. Belarus even more. NO ONE can controll all food, water, land, air. No one! They export it, they import it, they eat it, and pregnant women and children and infants! I witness it in Belarus, each year.

NOW FOODWATCH REACTED!

QUOTE: “Dear Commissioner Dalli, Commissioner Oettinger, Minister Aigner and Minister Röttgen,

The nuclear disasters of Chernobyl and Fukushima will have long-term impacts on human health. Food from the affected regions will be radioactively contaminated for many decades. It is the task of European policymakers to protect the health of the population as effectively as possible. The current EU-wide limits for the radioactive contamination of foodstuffs do not guarantee an adequate level of health safety.

The permissible limits are too high: there are no “safe” limits for radioactivity because any dose of radiation, no matter how small, can cause serious diseases like cancer. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, radiation limits for food must be as strict as possible. The current limits, however, are irresponsibly high and tolerate an excessive rate of illness and fatality. They accept, for no good reason, a level of radiation exposure that far exceeds the exposure permitted by the German Radiation Protection Ordinance for normally operating nuclear facilities. Sufficient quantities of foods are available from safe regions. Therefore, there is simply no justification for consuming highly contaminated products from the regions affected by Chernobyl and Fukushima.

Current permissible limits are contradictory: many other countries, including Ukraine and Belarus, which were directly affected by the Chernobyl disaster, have set much stricter limits. The outcome of these policies: foods that are too highly contaminated for sale in these countries can still be imported quite legally by EU Member States and sold within Europe.

The EU has an obligation to act: based on the European fundamental rights, European policymakershave an obligation to minimise human exposure to radiation as much as possible. This is mandated both by the precautionary principle, which is part of the primary legislation of the EU, and by the basic right to life and physical integrity.

I therefore call on you to:

  • drastically reduce permissible limits for the contamination of foodstuffs with the radionuclide cesium: from the current 370 becquerels per kilogram (or 200 becquerels per kilogram for imports from Japan) to 8 becquerels per kilogram for baby food and milk products, as well as from the current 600 becquerels per kilogram (or 500 becquerels per kilogram for imports from Japan) to 16 becquerels per kilogram for all other foods. These limits would satisfy the requirements of the German Radiation Protection Ordinance, according to which a maximum annual exposure limit of 0.3 millisieverts is permitted from each exposure pathway (i.e. for the emission of radioactive substances from nuclear power plants through air or water). The fact that any dose of radiation, no matter how small, can have serious health consequences is reason enough to question the continued operation and construction of nuclear power plants.
  • implement zero-tolerance policies for the contamination of foodstuffs with radioactive iodine-131. Given the relatively short half-life of iodine-131, people should not be expected to eat food contaminated with this isotope: many foods can be stored – or, if applicable, frozen – until the isotope has decayed and the foods have become suitable for consumption.
  • establish a uniform limit system that applies equally to normal and emergency situations. Currently the European Commission has the power to relax the limits for foodstuffs following a nuclear accident – like the recent Fukushima disaster; moreover, the EC can take such action alone, without parliamentary control. This situation must be changed.”

More background on the deadly limit which harms our children and can kill them:

The European Union imports radioactive goods from areas with a maximum of 20 Milli Sievert per Year (official) AND MORE -  that’s an equivalent of 50 (!) mammograms! FOR CHILDREN. This is dangerous and irresponsible.

So far had a radioactivity of cesium-134 and cesium-137 have been allowed by a maximum of 600 becquerels per kilogram. Since last weekend the EU limit for food from affected areas in Japan, however, was significantly increased. Consumer organization FoodWatch (web) and the Environment Institute Munich announced in a joint statement, that: For example, should fish oil or spices to their previous value to twenty times higher than what corresponds to 12 500 becquerels per kilogram.

500 Bequerel per Kilogram – japanese limit IS MURDER. Why: we can rightly consider the Cesium-137 in relatively small doses (20-30 Bq/kg); a breach of the regulatory processes in the body: PAGE 2 – 3: http://chernobyl-today.org/images/stories/BANDAJEVSKI_UNSCEAR_-_REUTERS_Sept_22nd_2010_Eng_V2.pdf

The appropriate Emergency Ordinance 297/2011 was on entered into force on March 27th 2011. Safety standards for Japanese food have been decreased. German Federal Minister of Consumer Aigner contains important information to the public. This is an act against the health of the people. This is not democratic. Then, the E.U. I had contact to foodwatch in 2008, when high Uranium was detected in Germany’s drinking water: https://tekknorg.wordpress.com/2008/09/12/uranium-in-drinking-water-solutions-made-in-germany/

Remember the scandal news of high Uranium levels in Germany’s drinking water HERE

The Consmer Protection Organisation “FOODWATCH” (web) discorvered, that of 8000 examined data 950 have more than 2 microgram of Uranium in one liter - that’s breaking the tolerance limit. Uranium in drinking water is dangerous for babies.

Adding to this: 150 data values are above the limit of 10 (!) microgram per liter. Is this still drinking water?

Worst of all: The German Authorities did not inform the German people about the Uranium in German drinking water – never did.

Only Foodwatch did it.

So, I sent them an E-Mail on August 7th 2008 regarding the shocking news of Uranium in drinking water. This was my Mail:

And this is their answer:

It took 3 (!) years for a lower Uranium limit in drinking water, but thanks to foodwatch something was done: http://www.foodwatch.de/kampagnen__themen/mineralwasser/trinkwasser/index_ger.html

quote: “From 1st November 2011 in Germany can not flow more water from the tap, which contains more than 10 micrograms of uranium per liter. This is a great step forward for consumers, because so far there was no legal limit. For years foodwatch critical values was made public and called for a limit. Babies and toddlers are so but still not sufficiently protected.”

translation by Mochizuki Cheshire Iori :

Mr.Kimura was an employee of Tepco. He quit it 10 years ago though it took him 3 years.
This is what he told in his speech.

Mr.Kimura was living in 15km west to Fukushima plant. He was at home when 311 happened. It took him 3 weeks to evacuate. The total exposure amount became 20mSv.After evacuation,he had unstoppable
“muddy” nose bleed, and sore throat. It was obviously a low dose symptom. Fukushima plant blasted crucial amount of radiation unlike what the gov told us.Now he is in Kochi.

He tried to quit 10 years ago, being sick of the deception and the lie of Tepco. However,it took him 3 years to quit.

Half life time of Pu is 24,000years,but nuc plant keeps working. He told his boss he can’t torture our descendant. The boss told him ,you are crazy.

He told the boss, you ARE crazy. The boss got mad and told him he should quit.

However,he was troubled to quit because he had an access to their confidential data.Tepco was threatened by his whistle-blowing.

When he was quitting,he was called by vice president and paid addiational 8.5 million yen for his retirement fee.

Iodine131 is produced when it’s in the critical state. The fact that the amount of Iodine 131 is stable proves it’s still in the critical state.
However,Tepco and the gov didn’t admit the fact. Here’s another deception.

Another deception is that 20mSv/y is totally safe.

Especially children and women should avoid rain. Cesium137 tends to be absorbed in muscle, but in case of women,it’s absorbed in uterus and lacteal gland. At least we should avoid breathing it by using double masks (wet one and dry one),and wear a cap because cesium137 is taken from hair too.
