Since 1990 exists a close partnership between the “citizens’ initiative for a world without nuclear threat” in Rottweil and the Belarusian Foundation “The Children of Chernobyl” in which they stand in solidarity to help remembering the Chernobyl disaster and build the energy future without nuclear energy.
There is a partnership festival from June 18 to 21 – 2015. This partnership will be held with a variety of events and with guests from Belarus and Japan.
They have supported this German-Belarusian partnership,, designed it, so we would like to celebrate it with you also.

Activity monitor shows 67 Becquerel Cesium 137 Gamma spectrum.
67 Becquerel +/- 35% (23.45)
= 43,55 to 90,45 Becquerel per Kg.
Belarus got 72 % Chernobyl fallout.

A 1,3 billionths of a gram of Cesium 137 (4,000 becquerel) creates a load of 100 Becquerel per Kg in the body of a 40 Kg heavy child.
This is my Radiation Protection Project. I bought two Radiometer Devices, called “RUG-92M-01” Their technology was invented after the Chernobyl explosions by belarusian radiation safety insitute “BELRAD” (URL). Each 113 Kg. They can measure Cesium 137 in Food, Soil, Water.
Cesium 137 sends out Gamma AND Beta radiaton, the body confuses it with potassium.
Both devices arrived two weeks ago from Belarus, here at my home in Germany. One is for me and one is for a teacher in Japan. It already modified for japanese power grid.
I measured german mushrooms – they grow in wet areas, and cesium goes there also (champignos) and german milk.
Here are my measurement results (potassium-40 correction and error uncertainity calculated):
First: Radiometer measures Background Radiation. As long as it is below 3,000 impulses = Average.
DISPLAY shows: 0,009 kbq/l Mushrooms
This means: 9 becquerel cesium 137 per liter
now the uncertainty /error: -/+ 50% at such low measurements:
So, the mushrooms can be 4,5 OR 13,5 bq/l
Now the calculation into Kg: means: I used 650 g mushrooms=
4,5 / 0,65 or 13,5 / 0,65
Mushrooms: 6,9 Becquerel Cesium 137 per Kg to 20,8 Becquerel Cesium 137 per Kg
Cesium 137 did not exist before the atomic age on this planet.

There is a tiny flash in the detector below the radiometer each time energy is given out by the radioactive atoms in food (in the crystals of the device). This flash is “translated” into into Kilo Becquerel per Liter on the Display and then the result is divided through the volume mass to get the Becquerel per Kg. The device is shielded with lead against background radiation and measures background radiation before each measurement of food.
f you have 20 Bq / Kg Cesium 137, you can have 10 or 100 times more Cesium 137 in your heart and / or cardio vascular system, because Cesium mimics potassium. And b) a child takes in even 3 to 5 times more substances, among them of course radioactive atoms. The fast metabolism does not help, and the mitosis even accelerates the damage.

= up tp 0,03 g Cesium 137 PER DAY! The specific activity of 1 g of Cesium 137 (or 0.035oz) is 3,200,000,000,000 Becquerel.
Cesium 137 is a reactor nuclear fission caused Heart Killer:
Once created, it stays 300 years -> FULL decay time, becaue half-life it not the “full decay time” or – in other words: 10 human generatons. It emits Beta and Gamma. The human race never knew this radioactive atom. It is in the same chemical group as potassium, behaves totally different, total destructive, and is taken in by the body as potassium, a lethal confusion. It wanders (as above) to the cardio-vascular system, stays there, changes, blocks vital processes of the body.

Since the Belarusian State now requires biometric data collection, probably many Belarusian children can not leave / travel. Because this takes all the time. The Children live in irradiated areas. They wanted to relax in Germany.

It says 27.6 μSv/h. He asked me then if all the students had evacuated. I said they were in class as we spoke. He said the radiation level qualified for immediate mandatory evacuation in Belarus. He told me that he thought Japan was a wealthy country but that he was apparently wrong
So, some children want to study in uncontaminated areas although their parents are against it. One junior high school girl said she would want to bear children when grown up, so she felt that she should leave Fukushima as soon as possible.
Also, the plan is underway to return evacuees to contaminated areas as the government and researchers say it’s safe. This is the reality of a “wealthy” country, Japan, which is considered a free, democratic and wonderful country. But it’s really our own responsibilities that we are in this situation. I am always thinking about how things can be changed.
