THE ATOM FORTRESS
SECOND STATUS REPORT OF THE IIASA PROJECT ON ENERGY SYSTEMS 1975:
Quote page 27: “The idea is to install large-scale nuclear power there on the basis of the breeder principle (…) This would allow for the meaningful harvesting of uranium from the sea waters of the passing ocean current (…)
AND page 240: A WASTE DISPOSAL for RADIOACTIVE WASTE: “Scale view of Canton “Energy Island” with its presumed geological structure. The full lines under the power station barges represent permanent, drilled radioactive waste sink holes, and the dashed extensions the free trajectories of the sinking capsules.”
page 15 quote: “In 1973 I was invited in Japan (…) Since the oceans contain 4.5 billion tons of uranium and their waters turns up at a rate of about one meter per year, simple estimates show that one can go flat for ten thousand years. The Japanese were fascinated by this energetic independence (…).”
The author “Cesare Marchetti” was closest staff to Wolf Häfele – a german Swabian pastor’s son, Physicist, advocate of fast breeder technology – AND RESPONSIBLE FOR: The invention of trivialization of nuclear accidents: https://tekknorg.wordpress.com/2011/05/22/the-invention-of-trivialization-of-nuclear-accidents-made-in-germany-1975/
thousand men were needed for each island. The fuel from the ocean and prepared in breeder reactors would have been transported to the countries of the world by ship (max. 300,000 tons).
A crazed action. characteristic are the words “soon / almost / in preparation / almost hardly likely / except for a small percentage / in preparation / if / however / no immediate risk / residual risk
This is atomic science, atomic industry. A complete failure.
