The above is an excerpt from the Chernobyl 1996 congress Belarus, from Prof. Nesterenko (liquidator and atomic physicist): http://www.life-upgrade.com/DATA/NesterenkoChernobyl-Belarus.pdf
When the atomic reactor of Chernobyl exploded in 1986, it’s fallout contaminated a quarter of Belarus. 72% of the total fallout went down on Belarus.
Recently, 2008, the Belarussian Government struck off 1000 villages and communities from the list of contaminated areas. Critics say they disregard the health of Belarussian people. If you want to see official Radiation maps of Belarus – klick HERE
It is widely known, that more than 2 million people still live in contaminated areas inside of Belarus. So they choose the option of Strucking Off. Why? It’s simply to expensive to evacuate the people from there (15,000,000,000 EUROs). Well, that’s the official Belarussian way to handle the problem. Remember the heavily contaminated forests and landscapes the Russians wiped of the map and buried? That’s exactly the same thing… Ehrm, NOT! Today they don’t even do this.
If you, as a Belarussian doctor make links betwenn illness and Chernobyl radiaton – you lose your job.
The main reason is money. The 2nd one: The (French build) CORE Program of U.N. (UNDP). CORE tells the people: “You can live there, have children and eat the homegrown food. We decontaminate the ground with lime and your children can get ridd of radiation by eating pectin pills.” Sadly pectin also brings all nutrients from your body.
And taking pectin is also concession, THAT Belarus STILL IS contaminated.
Strangely they (IAEA, WHO, UN officials) would never want to have their own children grow up there.

Some Belarussians I’ve met say: “Lukashenko is our second Chernobyl”.
