In 1986 the russian atomic reactor of Chernobyl exploded. Irradiating 25% of Belarus, where 72% of the Chernobyl fallout went down. Since then a secrecy is going on, in Belarus and in inside of the U.N: http://www.tschernobylkongress.de/fileadmin/user_upload/pdfs/Baverstock_How_the_UN_works.pdf No significant protection programs have been taken by the Belarusian State, the aid for Chernobyl affected regions and people have even been reduced or stopped: http://tekknorg.wordpress.com/2011/06/24/nuclear-crimes-belarus-says-chernobyl-irradiated-areas-are-clean/ While Fukushima exploded, Belarus signed the contract for the construction of the first atomic power plant in Ostrovets: http://tekknorg.wordpress.com/2011/06/20/nuclear-energy-takes-you-as-hostage/
According to one of the leading Chernobyl experts (namely Nesterenko and Jablokov) Chernobyl killed up to 1000,000 people: http://books.google.de/books?id=g34tNlYOB3AC IAEA, UNSCEAR, WHO, ICRP and the belarusian / russian state deny this. This is the reason why: The WHO is gagged by the IAEA with a contract from 1959: http://tekknorg.wordpress.com/page/2011/05/19/german-greens-cancel-secret-gag-agreement-between-iaea-and-w-h-o/
I accompanied a group of Chernobyl children, people from Belarus, together with many other Europeans to the United Nations in Geneva, on April 26th 2011. This single visit was video taped by me. The visit and the action of the website http://www.independentwho.info led to a change inside of the WHO. Secretary General Margaret Chan admitted on May 4th 2011, that every radiation is dangerous and that there are no safe radiation limits: http://tekknorg.wordpress.com/2011/05/12/w-h-o-secretary-general-chan-admits-for-the-first-time-in-52-years-radiation-is-always-dangerous/ It was part of our peace tour trip through Europe: http://tekknorg.wordpress.com/2011/03/13/be-part-chernobyl-peace-tour-through-europe-april-2011/
I witnessed the change in Belarus also. Exactly from the moment on, when the construcion contract of the new belarusian atomic power plant was signed (March 2011, during Fukushima explosion) Belarus stumpled into a hyperinflation. The bad economic situation created an increase of monitoring of belarusians by KGB and Police. Many belarusian friends told me, that when you go shopping, after work, doors are closed and suddelny civil police asks you for your ID. You have to tell them where you work. And even if it is your freetime they phone your work giver and ask him. Although you did nothing wrong, your work giver will have a chat with you the next day. This is senseless, criminal, but effective. Everywhere there are registration books, where people write down when you come and when you go. Even in kindergarten. The new reactor is a threat to all democratic development in Belarus. Belarus has become a hostage to Russia, because Russia’s ROSATOM is building it. Belarus got a credit of more than 2 billion Dollars by Russia, to pay the reactor. Then, three months later, got a credit by the IWF. Neither the construction nor the maintenance nor the operation nor the fuel cycle is self controlled by Belarus. It’s totally owned by Russia and it’s company ROSATOM. In Japan: TEPCO can irradiate hundreds of thousands or millions of people – it is protected by the state and even praised by the IAEA – the servant of the military and atomic industry: http://www.independentwho.info What will happen with the democracy in Japan? This is the situation in Belarus right now: http://toxaby.livejournal.com/514571.html?view=11193611
